  1. Ability to add middle initials to account. We have many clients that have the same exact name (crazy, right), and having a way to list a middle initial to differentiate these clients would make check in much more swift.

  2. We need to submit forms to insurance companies sometimes, so it is imperative that we are able to cleanly print the ENTIRE notes - including any addendums made - without overlap or cutoff

  6. Lets say a client wants to pre-purchase a service, at this time we cant do that. we would have to make an appointment to sell them the service... We should be able to sell a service without an appointment so they can keep it in their "wallet" to use at a different time.. For example if a service is on special and they want to pre pay/purchase we would have the ability to do so!!!

When we are setting same day appointment reminders for patients, we should be able to set it to two hours out from the appointment and not get locked into picking one singular time for all appointment reminders to go out (ie. 7a, 8a, 9a, etc). It would be more courteous to the patients who have appointments scheduled later in the day.

  8. There are some intake form questions that a business should easily be able to identify per client. For ex - if a client is asked whether they consent to their treatment photos to be shared on social media and they decline, it would be helpful to then add a related tag to the client profile.

  9. Customer would like the ability to configure permissions that would grant Staff to only see their Calendar/Schedule of upcoming appointments but still be able to see a Client's full history of appointments, regardless of who performed the services.

    Currently there is a Permission for Appointments > Everyone's > Summary/Detail. If this is enabled, Staff will be able to view a Client's History of services regardless of which Staff performed that service.   11. We also need to be able to text our clients via the app as well. We keep everything in house and so in order to message thru boulevard we have to log into a browser, sign in, and then text via a tiny screen.

  12. Precision Scheduling lacks the option to distribute clients by seniority when "First Available" is selected. This is super unfortunate since I feel like most salons and spas operate that way. It's becoming a serious issue with my senior estheticians when all of the new bookings are going to my newer estheticians even when they have the availability. I've adjusted the Precision Scheduling to distribute clients evenly but this is a HUGE PROBLEM that I hope can be fixed ASAP!

  13. Offering digital gift cards with an auto generated gift card number would be great! We do not offer physical gift cards. So, the only way for us to sell gift cards at the salon is through the salon website via Boulevard.

  14. Our salon needs commission tiers with a layered structure, e.g., $1-2500 = 40% of that amount. Then, the amount between 2500-3500 could receive 45%, and 3500-5000 = 50%, and so on. This should also include an hourly and commission option to fulfill state minimum wage requirements that can be reflected in the commission totals. (minimum hourly rate; or rate desired would work randomly with the commission totals showing that the hourly totals could be nullified by commission amounts if desired.)

  15. THIS SMALL INTEGRATION MAKES IT WORK ON THE BOULEVARDS SIDE, GIVING THE SALON A FULL LEVEL OF REVENUE AND NEW CLIENTS FROM OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS. MANY PAY NORMAL SERVICES TOO, AND PAYMENTS WHEN INTEGRATED IS BI-WEEKLY. THE INTEGRATION MAKES SURE THE CLIENTS FILL SLOW SPOTS AS WELL AS ALL LATE APTS , LAST MIN CANCELATIONS, AND NO-SHOWS ARE ALL PAID IN FULL

  18. I would like to see the amount of future bookings by service. For example, we have a goal to achieve a certain amount of facials in a month. It would be nice to see how many have already been booked for the upcoming month.

  19. Boulevard’s Messages inbox currently lacks essential unread message management features, including:

    A global “Mark all as read” option

    An Unread filter

    The ability to search or sort conversations by unread status

    For high-volume practices that batch outbound texts daily, client replies may arrive days or weeks later and become buried deep in the inbox. Staff must manually scroll and open each conversation to locate unread messages, which is inefficient and error-prone.

    Impact

    This limitation creates operational risk and inefficiency:

    Unread client messages can be missed entirely

    Response times are delayed

    Staff spend unnecessary time managing the inbox instead of supporting…

  20. When taking a photo in someone's chart (ex. aesthetic note) can we add grid lines so that photos are more consistent. Uploading photos are a hippa violation so we would love to be able to upgrade the photo taking features.
