gift card fraud
There's a message now when you buy a gift card warning of fraud and we need to remove it or change the language because it's causing customers to be afraid of buying gift cards online

I just ran a big Mother's Day promotion for Gift Cards, and spent money on ads and activation. I included the link in the booking app to the gift card promotion. I simply copied and pasted the link as directed by Boulevard. I learned the hard way. Apparently, when all my clients and prospective clients pressed the link they got a warning of fraud. While the click through response was overwhelming, we received numerous calls that clients and prospective clients refused to puchase because Boulevard scared the heck out of them. We estimate we lost $25,000 in sales and another $5,000 in ad and activation spend. Who does this? I am a corporate lawyer with over 30 years of experience. There is absolutely no law that mandates this warning on a Federal level or in the State of New York. I have officially referred to Boulevard as "sales prevention". As always, these changes should be fixed immediately, but Boulevard is too busy looking for ways to generate revenue (e-prescription comes to mind) and not to help its existing customers. Shame on them.
