I have many of the same thoughts. Early on, so many features were included. Now it seems that most new things come with a price tag, and most of the work is going into those features while core parts of the software get neglected (not able to turn off tipping per service or per provider, or booking group appointments from the dashboard for example)

I am in a beta test for new reporting, and there is a report in there (Daily Summary) which can get pretty close to what you want. It defaults to daily data, but you can group by month to show totals for the month you are interested in.
Hopefully the new reporting will help you with this one!
overall the new reports are SO MUCH better than the old experience.

This would also help so much with add-ons like saunas and salt rooms!

It is time consuming, but we started out with boulevard by adding a credit card emoji to each client profile that had a card on file. It then shows up in the app and on the desktop. It isn't 100% accurate as their card can expire and still have the emoji, but it works most of the time.
