  1. The booking email used to include:

    "Free cancellation or modification before [date] [time]. After that, changes will result in a charge of [fee] of your appointment total."

    This is not only available in the the text messages now. Please turn this feature back on.

  2. you should be able to reschedule appointments to the other business location without having to go to cancel the appointment and then schedule it at our other location.

  5. The booking overlay is very limited in customizable options. From the wording to the colors, it would be ideal to be able to customize these things for better brand alignment with individual businesses.

  6. When I mark up my charts for my patients, I like to go over where I'm doing things , how much, and why. The current markup doesn't allow for you to scroll in and out easily. Right now, when I go to zoom in, sometimes it will go back to the chart and then I have to press back in. Also, ability to make the markings smaller, especially for the "dot" markers. I want to be able to fit an entire upper face of marking and still have client be able to clearly see where things will be going. Another…

  7. We would like the ability to manage client notes more granularly. Specifically:

    Allow staff to add notes to a client’s record.

    Restrict staff from deleting existing notes.

    Provide an option to designate who can delete notes, with management having exclusive access to do so.

    This would help maintain note integrity while still allowing staff to document client interactions.

  9. It would be nice if there was an easy way to split the total between two people for one booking. Currently, the only way to split a service (including two services booked under one appointment) is to manually do the math and charge one card, then the other. However, manually splitting the total doesn't account for the service fee for credit cards nor the tips. It gets confusing and makes it uncomfortable having to ask them individually how much they want to tip on their card.

  10. When staff members need to communicate about clients via EMR. Or as task list for staff, for example doctor needs to message nurse about following up with a client in 2 weeks. The doctor puts that task in the EMR, and then in 2 weeks, that task pops up for the nurse to do.

  11. If a client needs to move their appointment on the same day I would like a notification. I can't check the schedule while I'm in service so I would like a text notification. Technically they cancelled, but we do a courtesy for first time clients and don't charge so it ends up being rescheduled instead of cancelled.

  15. Boulevard currently doesn’t allow membership account credits to expire, which creates challenges for practices using banked-style memberships. Without an expiration or limited rollover option, credits can accumulate indefinitely, complicating financial tracking and program fairness. The current workaround—manually monitoring usage reports—isn’t sustainable. Adding a configurable expiration setting (e.g., credits expire after 3–6 months or a set number of rollovers) would give businesses flexibility to manage liability, improve client accountability, and align Boulevard’s memberships with industry-standard functionality found in other POS systems.

  18. Create a library of forms/charts/phrases that people have created. Give them the option to add the form/chart to library to share with others. Create a button for others to share to the library so everyone doesn't have to build from scratch.
