Online Booking Logic: Reserve % For Specific Services
Would like the booking flow to possess the ability to enforce logic such as reserving a percentage of appointments per day for new customers or certain services. Currently, resource blocking is still a very manual process.

additional appointment reminders
We need appointment reminders further out than 5 DAYS.
We rebook our clients out for months in advance. Clients will book just to be on the books, but then frequently at the latest reminder that Boulevard allows—the client gets a 5 day reminder, realize they have a conflict and cancel. This really doesn't give us enough time to get those slots rebooked and costs us money.
We need the ability to push at least one ADDITIONAL notification out to 10-14 days.
We do have enterprise so I was able to create a workaround using zapier and doing an API call…

Deposit for Group Booking Only
Facial Lounge would like the ability to collect a deposit for services when booked as a group, but not when booked individually.

End of day reports
I am looking for a report that shows appointments that were on the schedule and NOT billed. This would be an "end of day report" to ensure all clients and appointments were checked out appropriately - even if it is billed out at $0.00

Add-On Services Booking with Different Stylist
It would be great have better customization over the Add-On Services by allowing someone to add-on a specific treatment before their haircut with their regular stylist.
Currently the system only allows Add-On's with a stylist who can perform both services.
This would have the opportunity to increase bookings and treatments in the salon if the client has better visibility to it when booking online.
This would also simplify the booking process by allowing someone to book a color service, and add-on a haircut with someone else without having to go back and add an additional service

Remove 'check in' on the client facing Boulevard app
Option to remove self check in on the DUO app. Clients often come in and attempt to self check in, but we have a fully staffed front desk and it slows down the work flow for the clients to try and self check in.
Or we go to check them out and they attempt to check in first, even though they've been checked in. This messes up the check out process. The option to remove this would be so helpful!2 votes -

When I am trying to send a new MESSAGE to a new customer, the NOTE box is highlighted instead of the SEARCH box for a name.

Make it so you can assign a staff to a client so you don't have to add them as the seller of products every time.
Allow the system to assign a staff member automatically to their client for retail sales. If I do the service it's my retail sale.

Configurable email and SMS times for when automated campaigns and one-time blasts are sent.
Ability to set a specific time for when automated campaign and blast emails and texts are sent out to clients. Ideally, these would be based on location time zones for clients receiving the messages.

Offer code Redemption with new client and sales attached
We need a report to run the business appropriately. We want to know what offers are working! If an offer code is used we want to know if it was a new client or existing client and the revenue tied to the transaction where the offer code was used

Only use the Location Name, not Business Name, in appointment confirmations and reminders
Ability to only include the Location Name in client communications to avoid confusion as to which location they have booked for.

Please add Cancellation Data to Reports so I can add that to the list of data I pull.
I would like you to add additional fields to the Reports. Specifically related to cancellations. It would be great to see # of No Shows, # of Cancellations and Reschedules so I can add them to the report I pull.

Ability to schedule an appointment with processing time over a time block
Allows for clients to book an appointment where the processing time of their service can overlap with time blocks on a staff member's calendar, rather than only times with room for the processing time before or after the time block.

From a client perspective, if I am a member/pay for a membership, I should be able to log in and have my own menu to book from so there is no confusion on pricing. By not specifying member pricing online, it causes confusion and unhappy surprises for new/non members if they book online.

So far in my experience it seems that from a client perspective, if I am a member/pay for a membership, I should be able to log in to my portal and have my own menu to book from so there is no confusion on pricing. It seems to cause confusion allowing "non members" to book any service online.
