  2. The online gift card system in Boulevard appears to be designed around the assumption that users are buying gift cards for themselves, which does not reflect real-world behavior. In practice, almost all gift cards are purchased as gifts for other people, and the current workflow breaks down because of this.

    From the start, the system creates confusion by requiring sign-in and prompting non-account holders to enter “YOUR phone number or YOUR email address,” with no clarity on whether this refers to the purchaser or the intended recipient.   5. Could you make the dashboard more user-friendly on mobile devices? For example, the touch sensitivity is very high, and scrolling across the page often causes appointments to drag unintentionally. Additionally, the dashboard on Android does not allow moving clients from Confirmed to Active—only to Arrived. Having the ability to move clients through all statuses (Confirmed → Arrived → Active) on mobile would greatly improve usability.

  6. I’d like the ability to add a client’s credit card information in the Professional app, similar to the Wallet tab on the dashboard. Since I’m not always at the front desk or the front desk is busy checking a client out, having this feature in the app would enable me to streamline appointment booking.

  9. When a new client calls to schedule and a profile is created for them, it automatically opts them out of text marketing. There should be an option for the appointment to be "set" but the client has to complete the rest of their profile. Leaving them opted in for messages in the beginning.

  11. Loyal clients like to take advantage of promotional gift cards. When they also want to enroll in a membership, they can't use those gift cards that are often hundreds of $. It would be great to be able to use a gift card on file but still require a credit card so that card can automatically be charged for renewals once the gift card runs out

  12. We had instances where we don't notice that a clients card has expired until it's too late. I understand that when its a membership they will be notified but it would be cool if it was sent out even just from their profile

  13. Stylist should be able to see only their reports in the app. The reports should also include more details. Stylist should be able to customize what they want to see in a report. It would be wonderful if the stylist could see their staff performance report in the app. Stylist who are independent/chair renters like to view this information at all times so it is hard on business owners to send out all the time.

  14. I’d like to see a single report that provides both year-over-year and month-to-month staff performance comparisons. Since our salon operates heavily on goals and performance metrics, having a full annual comparison alongside monthly trends in one report would make tracking performance much easier. This would save time, reduce the need to generate multiple reports, and give a clearer overall picture of staff performance.

  15. There isn't a way to give staff schedule visibility without also providing access to client information through appointment details. Even when only "View Availability" is selected, even though the staff member can't see the clients' name on the calendar, they can click on "Schedule", "Cancellations", and "Waitlist" and gain access to client info.

    We need a way to be able to limit the staff from viewing any and all client data and only see the providers' calendars have appointments scheduled.

    Since the permissions work as a package, when we enable "View all appointments" to see the schedule, staff can click…

  16. When you are looking at, for example, a summary report for sales, and it says there were 14 transactions, if you click on 14, it will open up the data behind that number so you can look at the actual line by line 14 transactions that made up that data.

  17. A custom report option that allows us to see the necessary information when inputting payroll, with the form of payment included in the report.
    What the client purchases:
    Service, Product, tax, gratuity, gift card sale, wholesale purchase.
    Form of Payment:
    Card, check, cash, venmo, barter, etc.

    Currently, we need to run multiple reports or double-check the calendar. Many more steps than are necessary.

  19. Would be beneficial to able to see more New vs Returning data in reports.

    Examples:
    1) Referral Sources Report shows New Clients and Returning Clients, but then aggregates all the data for the rest of the report. Being able to filter the rest of the data (total sales and services, etc) for just new clients and just returning clients would show salons just how much revenue is coming in from new clients during a time period.

    2) Staff Performance Report shows New and Returning clients, but then aggregates sales and prebook rates. Separating prebook rates for New and Returning clients…

  20. Allowing individual stylists to see only the clients on their waiting list and not the salon as a whole, would allow them to focus on getting those clients scheduled. It also allows them to retain clients as well as opportunity to add to their book.
