  1. Many of my staff members (in different privilege groups) are capable of completing a purchase order upon receiving inventory. But I don't necessarily want them to have access to all the tabs under "Manage Location", especially Billing and Staff Schedules. Please allow extra flexibility in assigning access for privilege groups.

  3. For the fill slow days automated messages, allow us to set filters as to who would receive the message. We don't want to send a message to someone who was here yesterday. We would like to be able to filter to clients who are on our "rescue lost clients" list or those on the waitlist.

  4. Allow past months inventory levels to stay recorded. If we need to go back to a past month there is no way of cross checking. I find it ridiculous to have to manually add and deduct purchases to get this number.

  7. When a member pays for themselves and a guest in one invoice, currently any member discounts (automatic offer codes for example) auto-apply to their guest as well. We would love to customize this, as many of these discounts are not intended to be shared with guests.

    I’d love to suggest a feature that would make Boulevard even more powerful for service businesses: Flexible Pricing Rules.

    Right now, I can adjust pricing by staff, add-ons, or manually at checkout, but there isn’t a built-in way to automatically apply surcharges or premium rates based on time of day or specific dates.

    Here are a few use cases:
    • After-Hours Appointments: Automatically add $X or a % increase when a service is booked outside regular business hours.
    • Holiday Surcharges: Add a fee or percentage increase for appointments booked on certain dates (e.g., December 24th, July…

  13. I just went to make a list of clients who recently saw a staff member who left last week so I could reach out to some of them for retention purposes. I was slightly surprised (but not overly surprised) that only active staff members are listed in the filter options.

    It continues to frustrate me that previous staff members are completely erased from the history of the business when they are deactivated. Just because they aren't an active employee doesn't mean that they didn't perform services, have days on the schedule, and see guests.

    PLEASE keep deactivated staff members available…

  14. Please bundle the client service pricing and the service charge itself so its itemized on our end but final pricing for salon to the client. we need to track per item charges without charging to the technician for commission based salons

  15. It would be helpful if when an employee is marking a day off, if those now open shifts could be listed somewhere for another employee to pickup. Reducing this task for management would be very helpful!

  16. Make a way to access employee schedules outside of the spa. For HIPAA purposes, our system is IP restricted, however, staff cannot access their schedules, so they are constantly double checking on schedules by phone. Why can't there be a way to have access but not to client list or details? Then you have to recheck the IP box the morning of their shift or they get the "forbidden" message when they try to log on in the spa.

  19. I need a report that shows how much $ we did by specific services. I also need it to be broken down by cash, cc, allē, etc. We need to know how much we spent on products to perform services and then subsequently how much we brought in. Highly important!

  20. When booking an appointment, it is extremely inconvenient and time wasting when the system automatically chooses different rooms for each separate part of a client's appointment, if they are doing multiple things. This is very counterintuitive and it's so frustrating to have to correct it all during booking and/or after booking for all the appointments that were mass transferred when we switched to this software. It should automatically keep you in the same room. Its much more efficient to only have to correct 1 piece of an appointment, on the rare occasion when we have to change a room.
