  1. Some products can only be ordered in 3's or 6's. Additionally, suppliers may offer discounts when items are ordered in 12's.
    This would be easier to manage if there were the ability to enter a required unit quantity in the product profile which would be used as a rule when creating purchase orders.

  4. When we need to refund a client due to issues like switching payment methods, the system should allow us to reopen the original appointment to check it out. Currently, we’re forced to create a second appointment just to process the checkout, which results in duplicate appointments appearing in the client’s chart.

  5. When a guest cancels an appointment via the dashboard or self-service link, a short, native multiple-choice dropdown should appear immediately after cancellation asking why they chose to cancel.

    This should be built directly into Boulevard’s platform, not dependent on third-party integrations or external survey tools like Typeform or Klaviyo. Having this moment of feedback in-line and native dramatically increases completion rates and closes the feedback loop in real time — while the intent and context are still fresh.

    This is not just a UX improvement — it’s essential business intelligence. Without real-time insight into cancellation behavior, studios are left guessing.…

  6. Stop requiring the input of a billing zip code to charge late fees. Some clients, especially new ones, dont fill out their intake paperwork for whatever reason. This leaves the clinic unable to charge late fees without their billing zip code.

    Also, there should be a toggle to charge JUST the late fee without including tax. I want to charge $100 flat rate. In order to do so, i have to charge $92.38 to make up for the tax to get the flat rate of $100.

  7. Our memberships are based around account credit so they can be used for any service. They also get one free add-on monthly. For example: a gold membership cost $85 and the client gets $100 in store credit plus one free $15 add-on. BLVD is assigning the value of the voucher as $85 and changes the price of the add-on to $85 when redeemed. Making the voucher amount editable would improve the client experience (receipts are confusing) and accounting on the backend.

  8. If a client is calling to make an appointment, let's input their phone number (or email) and first name. The system can then send them a text (or email) to input their card, agree to cancellation policy, etc, and only then will their appointment get put on the calendar.

  9. When using the "Copy from Previous Chart" function, the system currently brings forward previously uploaded images/photos along with the charted information. This leads to confusion and potential clinical inaccuracies, especially if the old photos are outdated or no longer clinically relevant.

  10. We need an auto Time Block at beginning of appt for NUMBING for certain services provided (filler, microneedling, etc.)

    Currently what is offered for time blocking with each appt is: Processing Time (a block of time at the END of the service when a client is busy, but the staff can attend other clients.), Finishing Time (a block of time at the END of a service and any processing or transition time when both the client and the staff are busy.), and Transition Time (a block of time AFTER the service is performed during which the staff member is unavailable.…

    1) disable automated receipt emails

  14. Inventory level tracking for each treatment room and inventory storage location. Minimum thresholds should be established per SKU with alerts when on-hand inventory falls below the threshold and a purchase order or transfer is needed.

  16. It would be ideal for each membership type to have the ability to auto apply their discounts when checking the client out. Example: VIP Membership clients receive 10% off injectables and 20% off skin care - having these %’s be auto applied at the time of check out would create many accidental issues with front desk staff forgetting to apply the client’s discounts and having to refund and create a new visit to check the client out again.

  18. At rebooking screen, where past appointments are displayed, it would be ideal to see the weekday and the date, not just the date. That way, you can see "Oh, she prefers to book Tuesdays!" so you can recommend one.
