  1. The online gift card system in Boulevard appears to be designed around the assumption that users are buying gift cards for themselves, which does not reflect real-world behavior. In practice, almost all gift cards are purchased as gifts for other people, and the current workflow breaks down because of this.

    From the start, the system creates confusion by requiring sign-in and prompting non-account holders to enter “YOUR phone number or YOUR email address,” with no clarity on whether this refers to the purchaser or the intended recipient.   5. Staff should use last 4 digits of SS number to clock-in and out from reception IP only. Prevent clock-ins from other devices. This will prevent other staff clocking in and out for them.

  6. At our office we book out the owner's VIP clients a year in advance and really NEED the capability to copy appointments. It's tedious and time wasting to have to book each thing, each month and re-edit the exact same things rather than being able to just copy an already booked appointment and paste it for the next time.

I have removed the ability to change pricing at the front desk computer and i'd like to be able to go in and retroactively remember a client's price so i dont have to change it later, but this option seems to only be available when they have booked their next appointment or at check out. it would be really helpful to be able to add an accomodation like that at any time

  9. Duo needs to be able to connect to Professional app/Ipad/Phone. It would be one less step. ALSO, if computer goes down the DUO is pointless!!! Vagaro lets you checkout on ANY device through the main app! So much more streamlined.

  10. I currently operate with the idea that I am able to send forms to patients independent of appointments such as is the case with month to month follow up for telehealth weight management. I want to be able to send a patient a follow up form through their portal so that they can complete for review and is automatically tied to their chart. I was able to do this with my previous EHR which is a game changer for our practice. We do not have access to forms in any other capacity and so I am currently utilizing google forms…

  14. Alert if trying to book an appointment when a resource is already booked at that time. Ex, we only have one SkinPen and it is already in use, alert our front desk if they are trying to double book that device.

  17. Providers should have the ability to view their own client ratings in Boulevard. Currently, only admins can see these, and enabling this feature for providers also grants access to other providers’ ratings and additional permissions, which isn’t ideal. It would be helpful if providers could receive an email notification whenever a client leaves them a rating, and if they could view all ratings left by clients directly within the client’s profile.

  18. I know everyone is on the AI hype wagon. I am not against AI, but I would love to see work on some suggestions that have been hanging out for over 5 years (turning off tips per provider/service, moving forms between clients, etc...)

    It seems like Boulevard is focused on the next big thing all the time and losing track of what made you special: excellent scheduling and a feature rich experience for a variety of salons and spas.

    Please take like one month and focus on some of this low hanging fruit, then go chase whatever AI dreams you…

  19. The banner image in mobile view eats up so much of the screen that, depending on the size of the client's phone, only a line or two of the descriptive text is visible after the service heading. We would like the ability to turn off the banner graphic for mobile view to resolve this problem.

  20. we have many different services that require different pre and post care instructions. for example, in the booking notification for a spray tan we want to tell them to wear specific clothing, for lashes we want to let them know to plan not to wash their face or shower. for extensions we want to let them know to take Tylenol bc their heads will be sore. on vagaro I was able to customize the client instructions based on what service they were getting
