Custom Cancellation Location, Provider, and Operating Hours
Cancellation should be able to be automated to be set by:
- Operating hours: closed during weekend, so window should be extended to 72 hours instead of the regular 24
- Location: Some regions have much busier clinics and should have a different window
- Provider: Similar to location level, some individual providers are highly productive and booked several weeks out, so the policy for them should be different if needed.3 votes -
tags
The tags are nice, but they are not visible until you click into the patients actual profile. It would be nice if the tag populated on the schedule, so it is obvious at a glance. Additionally, you cannot see a tag on the main client view/dashboard --you have to filter out by tags. Would be nice to see them there as well.

Product Variants
Adding the ability to create product variants (such as size, color, or type) within a single product listing, instead of duplicating the product entirely, would help keep inventory clean and easier to manage.

Membership Enrollment via Email
It would be valuable to email clients a direct option to sign up for memberships, ideally accessible through Marketing or Client Communications, without requiring in-person setup or manual workarounds.

Discontinue the second daily journal entry you send to Quickbooks Online Edition (QBO). I can't understand the point of it but it's completely wrong and I have to go through QBO each month and delete it. I mean, it's obvious that whoever maintains the app connection to QBO doesn't really understand accounting, and the upshot is a lot of extra work for the accountants. Latest case in point - during January, every journal entry for about a week posted all activity to the unredeemed vouchers code instead of sales etc. Bottom line, you're creating extra work for me, and I…

Customer Update Payment Method
Customers email us frequently because they cannot join a waitlist because they cannot update their payment method. Customers should be able to easily update their payment method as it is needed in the booking flow so that they do not exit the booking process out of frustration.

Calender view
On the calendar view, it would be nice to be able to see if a client was checked in or if we are still expecting them. The "front desk" view is nice but then it doesn't really show who is late so we can call them.

Price Increases automatically updating scheduled appointments
Every year we update service prices to go into effect on Jan 1. However, we book standing appointments for the new year prior to the increase. The prices should automatically update and apply to any future appointments.

Connected Field: SMS Marketing Consent
Clients are asked if they consent to SMS marketing via online booking, however they could potentially also be asked in a new client intake form. This should also be able to update the consent within the client profile.

Internal way of grouping appointments
Right now there is not a way to group appointments when they are booked internally. When clients schedule online and are having people join them that appears but if the appointment is scheduled internally there is no way to group them.

Mobile app schedule for receptionist
Have a way on mobile app for team, who isn't service provider, to be able to look at their schedule. We have receptionist and were using a third party for them to clock in/out and post schedules. Since joining boulevard we are trying to centralize everything. With the receptionist team we are always making changes to schedule and it would be convinent for them to be able to access their schedule via the mobile app. As of right now you can only see schedules if you log in on the desktop.

Valid credit card for all clients when scheduling
We have had several clients schedule without a valid credit card on file and they no show. I just recently found out that if the client already has their name and info in BLVD from another spa that they are not required to input info. This is big issue since we have had 5 clients no show with no way to charge them.

Allow me to return to where I was, not start over
I am forever having to scroll and find where I left off when trying to bulk edit inventory or sales or anything. IT IS DRIVING ME BONKERS. I should be able to open the sale or product, make the edit, and return to exactly where I left off. Why in the world is this not a feature? Why am I using Boulevard? I can't send invoices, I can't bulk edit, I can't get inventory alerts, I can't bulk merge clients, I can't get a report on duplicate clients, and okay, I can't do all these things so I'll do them…

Record seller for gift card sales
Ability to record which seller was responsible for selling a gift card to a client. Oftentimes a team member may push a gift card promotion and convince a client to purchase. This would be a way to report on those sales and recognize/reward sellers for their performance.

Gift Card Wallet Transfer
The online gift card system in Boulevard appears to be designed around the assumption that users are buying gift cards for themselves, which does not reflect real-world behavior. In practice, almost all gift cards are purchased as gifts for other people, and the current workflow breaks down because of this.
From the start, the system creates confusion by requiring sign-in and prompting non-account holders to enter “YOUR phone number or YOUR email address,” with no clarity on whether this refers to the purchaser or the intended recipient. Break out New vs Returning client data in more reports
Would be beneficial to able to see more New vs Returning data in reports.
Examples:
1) Referral Sources Report shows New Clients and Returning Clients, but then aggregates all the data for the rest of the report. Being able to filter the rest of the data (total sales and services, etc) for just new clients and just returning clients would show salons just how much revenue is coming in from new clients during a time period.2) Staff Performance Report shows New and Returning clients, but then aggregates sales and prebook rates. provide users the ability to click through to a transaction from a report
users should be able to click directly from any report entry into the specific transaction it relates to. This functionality will enable backend users to quickly identify and resolve errors or incorrect charges on items or services. Additionally, it will improve the accuracy and reliability of commission reporting.

Staff clock-in and out -
Staff should use last 4 digits of SS number to clock-in and out from reception IP only. Prevent clock-ins from other devices. This will prevent other staff clocking in and out for them.

entering saved prices for client after check out.
I have removed the ability to change pricing at the front desk computer and i'd like to be able to go in and retroactively remember a client's price so i dont have to change it later, but this option seems to only be available when they have booked their next appointment or at check out. it would be really helpful to be able to add an accomodation like that at any time
