Notifications to Admin/Business Owner
Hi,
As a business owner/manager/admin of the Boulevard system, I need to know when clients or a technician books an appointment so that I (i) know that the schedule has been modified and (ii) to double check that the client has booked the right service. It doesn't help that only the technician or service provider gets notified that they have an appointment; frankly it doesn't really help as they can see on their calendar view if they have appointments scheduled for the day that they are supposed to work. As of today, all clients can view their upcoming and past appointment information by selecting "All Appointments" at the top of their Appointment Details page (accessible via booking and reminder emails). It's not in an app yet, so we'll leave this as waitlisted, but clients can access the information from their browser. Learn more here.

Copy and paste appointments
One of the biggest request from the front desk is a copy and paste option for pre-booking an existing appointment. As you know we check out 4OO to 500 clients a week. Most of our clients pre-book their next appointment while in the salon. A lot of our clients have very specific appointment times that are not standard to our normal booking. For this reason a copy and paste would really help eliminate errors and speed up the process of the checkout, which we are in dire need of. This is something that we really really need ASAP.

On-site Gift Certificate (Card) Sales
Under our previous system (Booker), clients could walk in, select a gift certificate template, tell us who it was for, what they wanted included on the gift, add special messages, etc. and we could print a nice color gift certificate for them to take with them. While we were talking with the sales folks at Boulevard, I was led to believe that this is also possible with your system (this is in addition to clients being able to buy gift cards online themselves without our help).

The patients first and Last Name and Date of birth on auto populate on each page in the internal patient record.
We need this feature because the medical Board Requires the Patient's first and last name and date of birth be present on every record pertaining to a patient file or notes.

Require a valid credit card to add to Waitlist online and internally
Currently, clients aren't required to leave a credit card if they're not booking fully and just joining the waitlist. It's counterproductive that it's the 'exception' to the rule!
It's easier to book from the waitlist knowing their card is already on file instead of trying to hunt a client for their cc info last minute (since it's our policy...many times it took 3 days to get in touch with a client to add their cc info before booking an appointment) or maybe even collecting a small deposit or percentage of the service to join the waitlist. Color consistency when appointment changes
Thank you for updating Boulevard so that the different kinds of appointments can be different colors! It's a huge upgrade.
I would ask that you have consistency to the color changing afterwards... a simple lighter version of the color would be nice. But to change the tone of the color all together is confusing.

Filter client history
It would be helpful to be able to filter client's history. If you currently cancel a ton of recurring appointments, you won't be able to see actual history in the client profile, only the cancelled appointments. I need to be able either expand history, or filter by status.

Check-in and Check-out alerts
It would be helpful to have check-in and check-out alerts, similar to the booking alerts. These are very helpful to assist us if the Client wants the following: Warmer Pod, Music Throughout, Music at the End Only, Their own Music, etc...

Commission Structure Customization
The way Blvd calculates commission is not a true tiered method. The POS system we used to have calculated commission however we put into the system. I am asking that Blvd add the piece that we can customize our own commission structure. Right now it takes us hours to input into an Excel document and because we are doing this manually leaves many chances for error.
Our commission structure is tiered as follows.
$800-$1200 40%
$1201-$1600 42%
$1601-$1900 45%
$1901-$2100 50%
$2101 and up 60%

Need additional appointment metrics found in the classic Appointment Metric reports, ideally:
- New Clients (Requested)
- New Clients (Non-Requested)

4/6/8 week button
instead of having the 4/6/8 week button from todays date, it would be nice if it went from where you are on the calendar. So if a client likes to book for every 4 weeks and go every 4 weeks from that date and not just from todays date. The calendar would jump to every 4/6/8 weeks from any date.

Add a better call to action to the reviews
I do not think the reviews are being used because 'tell us how we did' is not a strong call to action. As a customer I would not even know your requesting a review. It needs to stand out as a request. People pay extra for this feature alone so making this the best it can be is important.
