For many medical service providers, pricing depends on individual factors such as complexity, time required, and specific client needs. This is especially true in HIPAA-compliant med spa settings, where services are more technical than typical salon offerings and often require a personalized assessment before quoting an accurate price. A single listed price can be misleading, creating confusion or unrealistic expectations. To avoid this, we currently list all services at $0 with a note that pricing will be discussed during a free consultation. While this ensures clients receive accurate, customized quotes, it also makes checkout cumbersome since staff must manually enter pricing for each appointment.
Adding an option to hide prices in online booking would encourage clients to schedule consultations, understand the service’s value firsthand, and receive tailored pricing—while also streamlining checkout and protecting businesses from competitors using public pricing to undercut rates.
