Send a secure link to add credit card info from their client profile
For clients who reach out to the salon directly vs. booking online, adding a feature from the profile we create for them that sends a secure link (or sends when prompted) to add their cc info so we have it on file. This would support our booking and cancellation policies without having to ask them for their cc info over the phone, via text or email.

This would be so helpful. I've had this with previous booking software and it made receiving cc info much easier and more convenient for both the client and the staff. CC info is necessary to protect the time of the staff.

This feature is very important. Clients book via text messaging and they often do not want to give their credit card number. Sending them a link protects their credit card information and helps the practice have some recourse should the patient turn out to be a no show.

I’ve personally been waiting for this feature since before I even signed up with Boulevard. At the time, I was told it would be coming “soon” but now it’s been almost five years. This should really be a basic feature at this point, and not having it makes Boulevard feel like a dinosaur in today’s age, especially when it’s marketed as a luxury brand.
Right now, if a client doesn’t feel comfortable giving their credit card over the phone, we have to send them a text with a link to a service just so they can submit their card. That process is not only clunky, but it also falls into a PCI compliance gray area and credit card info should only be collected through secure, encrypted links. Plus, every extra text we send is an added cost on Boulevard’s SMS platform.
A simple, built in feature where we can send a secure “add card on file” link directly from the client profile would solve all of this. It would support our booking and cancellation policies without us needing to ask for sensitive information over the phone, text, or email. This is long overdue and feels like something Boulevard should absolutely prioritize.

I don't like taking peoples credit cards over the phone, but we require a credit card on file. I would love if we could send a link to their phone number so they can fill out credit card form.

With a significant increase in no-shows and late cancellations, allow clients to input their Credit Card information within the Client Portal. This allows the clients to have control and feel safer rather than giving information over the phone. This credit card is used to hold the appointment and charge for no-shows and late cancellations. If needed, the client can access their portal to update the credit card in the future. Additionally, allow the salon to send them a link to input this information or fill out an intake form prior to the appointment.

Instead of asking for credit card information over the phone, or via email if they are booking through a message. When the appointment is made, they get a text or link to add credit card with the cancelation policy. If they don't add in 1 hour, the appointment is canceled and they are told they have to book again.

For better security it would be great to be able to send a link via text that allows patients to enter / update their payment information on their account. MindBody currently does a great job of this as reference.

It would be extremely helpful if the Client portal had a "Wallet" if you will. Where clients can add multiple payment methods for use at checkout throughout any appointment or checkout. This can help for outstanding orders or tickets that need to be closed due to a faulty payment method.

Setting that requires a card on file for ALL in house appointments. An appointment cannot be made, without having a card on file. Multiple team members frequently forget to collect card info when scheduling in house appointments. It would be helpful to have a setting that would not allow them to forget to collect card information to schedule the appointment.

When booking online, require a card on file for new client appointments/for clients who do not have a card on file, to prevent no shows & compensate estheticians for their time.
