Custom Automated Messages
Hi [Boulevard Team / Support],
I’d like to request a feature enhancement for automated messaging within the booking system.
Currently, automated confirmations and reminders are not customizable by service type. This has created some confusion for our patients—specifically, clients are showing up in person for virtual check-ups because the messaging does not clearly distinguish between in-person and virtual appointments.
It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to create custom automated messages tied to individual services (or service categories). This would allow us to provide clear, service-specific instructions (e.g., virtual appointment links, preparation steps, arrival expectations), improving the patient…

confirmation email for rescheduled appointments
if a client reschedules their appointment themselves they won't get an updated confirmation email and I need this. this has resulted in double booking themselves or just not showing up.
Square has so many features BLVD doesn't and I think you could get a few tips from them? TY!6 votes -
adding options to referral program
I would love if there was a way for the client being referred to receive something other than a $ or % off. If we could tie a voucher for a specific service to the client being referred, that would be amazing!

Make Vouchers transferable.
We sell vouchers for individual services. When a person buys a voucher for a massage, but decides to gift it, it is a pain to void that voucher and then create a new voucher for the other person. It's messy and for members that are able to gift some of their membership vouchers as well.

Resources when Editing Appointment Details
Currently, when services are added through "Edit Details" before confirming an appointment, resources do not automatically attach—even if they are configured to the service. This can lead to double bookings or missed resource assignments. It would be helpful if resources were automatically attached to any service added at this stage, just as they are when added during the initial booking process.

Total units/amount injected addition on Annotatable images
On annotatable images, I would like a "total amount injected box" that adds together the number of units or volume of substance that has been charted on the image. This function is available on other EMR platforms, so it must be something that could be developed. The value of having that box automatically populate the amount that has been charted, is that it prevents injection volumes form being omitted or forgotten on the treatment image, which keeps inventory and record keeping medically accurate.

text/email invoices from boulevard!!!
PLEASE allow us to text/email customers their invoices through boulevard. this would be fantastic for those who see a product on social media, and they want to reserve and pay for their product ahead of time when limited stock.

Auto assign staff to services
There should be a way to auto-toggle staff as assignable when creating new services. Or assign to specific roles.

add the option to print, email, or text client's future appointments
We have a large number of clients who request that we print out all of their future appointments when they come in for an appointment. Right now, we have to copy and past all of their appointments into word and print from there. This is the same for emailing appointments. In the client overview there should be an option to print or email.

Notify service provider when client reschedules
I'm posting again as well as voting on the others in hopes that inundation will be the key to finally getting this. I just spent an hour notifying my staff on changes made over the weekend. I'm truly in disbelief that this booking system doesn't do this. It is time consuming and has my stylists regretting leaving Vagaro and Gloss Genius and I'm beginning to feel the same.

Please create an intra office task
We often need to document a phone message, or lab results, or need to create or complete a "task" of some sort for patients. Can we please create a "task" schedule or tab that we can see for patients. Currently our work around now is scheduling an appointment so we can document the task, but it will send the patient an appointment reminder if you create which confuses the patient. So a way to create and complete tasking for various items in charts without having to create an appointment would be extremely helpful.

Add Unread Message Management Tools to Messages Inbox
Boulevard’s Messages inbox currently lacks essential unread message management features, including:
A global “Mark all as read” option
An Unread filter
The ability to search or sort conversations by unread status
For high-volume practices that batch outbound texts daily, client replies may arrive days or weeks later and become buried deep in the inbox. Staff must manually scroll and open each conversation to locate unread messages, which is inefficient and error-prone.
Impact
This limitation creates operational risk and inefficiency:
Unread client messages can be missed entirely
Response times are delayed
Staff spend unnecessary time managing the inbox instead of supporting…

edit auto confirmation texts
I HATE the auto confirmation and reminder messages and I want to be able to edit them fully. I hate that you guys charge so much for text messages, even when it doesn't cost you anything. I hate that it's 5 segments for one reminder text. So that's my feedback

Add a filter when searching for gift cards that is for the recipient rather than the purchasing client.

Client Reschedule Open Across Providers
Currently, clients can only reschedule their appointments with the provider they're currently booked with. This can severely limit the options they see and cause them to cancel instead. This is a big hinderance to retention/revenue, especially with a business not based in provider-request specific booking.

Ability to have specific member vs. non-member pricing for every service
It would be great if you could add a 'default member price' option next to the 'default price' that is on the service details page. We have specific pricing we want our members to pay, but the membership perk options aren't allowing us the flexibility we need.
