Mark staff as sick
In the time clock it would be nice to have the ability to mark staff as sick for a particular day as a way to track it for sick leave hours

Option to send Mass Confirmation
When making scheduling adjsutments, if not using the reschedule button, confirmation emails aren't sent. If making adjustments that are weeks out it's easier to make these from the appointment details instead of using the rescheduling button

Client's email addresses that have been receiving bouncebacks (hard) should have indicator on profile
And during checkout that the client's email address appears invalid.
Would help salons better foster better communication, so many times clients put in emails incorrectly, or we heard them wrong, or they moved on to a new email address. Unless the salon knows that an email address is invalid for some reason, we'll continue marketing, sending receipts, sending booking confirmations for no purpose and give both the client and staff a false sense that communication is happening.

Daily appointment count for every service provider
Add a simple count of appointment for each service provider for each day in both the desktop and mobile dashboards

Modify length of completed service to allow online booking.
Today I had a haircut booked for 1hr15min and it only took 45min to finish the whole service but after the booking was paid for and done I couldn't shorten the time of the completed booking. I want to allow for online bookers looking for last minute availability to be able to take the time thats shaded out by the closed booking. I can manually click and drag to create a booking in that space but if it was someone wanted to book without calling they couldn't.

Refund Explanation in Refund Beta Reports
When performing a refund you are required to choose a refund explanation, however this is only visible on the refund order. This should be a optional column added to the Payments and Refunds Beta report so that you could filter, sort or count how many refunds you have for "customer service" vs "defective product"

Add merchant processing data (credit card fees, merchant deposits) to Beta Reports
Adding Merchant Processing data is essential for businesses with multiple locations. Going into individual merchant accounts to get reports is unsustainable.

A new "done signing" screen for iPad
This is for clients signing on an iPad - There is a long enough of a delay from when a client signs and hits "done signing" to when it goes back to the welcome screen that there is often confusion about whether or not they hi the button. This results in them hitting it again, which does nothing to the payment process, but will create an error message on the iPad that says "something went wrong." This will make the clients worried and creates this unnecessary dialogue where we have to explain there isn't anything wrong, etc. Could we add…

When client books online, running the card on file should default to the most recently input card by the client or the one that works
Expired cards should not be automatically used, wasting checkout time. Also redundant cards should better be merged than shown as multiple entries for same card.

Subscription Change Confirmations
Subscribers should be sent an automated confirmation for changes made to their subscription including pausing, rescheduling payment date, or cancelling. Otherwise, they call us looking to confirm and we have to spend time manually sending confirmation emails.

After client no-shows or late cancels, force option for these appts at cancellation to require a card on file...
...for future bookings whether self book or even in-salon/over phone.

Set date for price changes to activate
With a large service book, we need to at times, and at least annually make changes to the price book. Ideally we should be able to set a date and time as to when the price change will be activated. This means we can work on any significant changes, then announcement ahead of time to guests. Then the prices all go live. Eg. Jan 1st changes for the new year. We can build the changes out now to go live Jan 1st.

Ability to have transactional history of the client available from the client profile. Ideally, service and product purchases link directly to sales order.

Option to have 15-30 minutes automatically added to new client bookings.
If this is an added feature stylist would have the option of having Blvd add 15 to 30 minutes to the booking automatically. Currently I have to watch every appointment book and if I don't recognize the name I go and adjust the time, if time is available. The desk can't remember every single specific time that stylist would want added for each new client. I have spoken to other hairdressers at other salons that use Boulevard and they all think the idea is really good.

Edit payment type in closed order
The wrong payment type was used to close an order (Other payment type) vs. credit card. We would like the ability to edit or refund and add new payment type more easily. Currently, we would need to create a new appointment.

Chart Printing format
When printing a chart, the formatting disappears.
Taking the time to format a document (or using a formatted 'phrase' ) only for it to condense into essentially a run-on sentence is not appropriate for documentation.7 votes
