Allow add-ons to be booked/performed by other team members.
We have several add-on services that can be performed by other members of our team, that would be utilized by clients in online booking if they were available. Having the option to add-on, then select the professional within the add-on would open up more possibilities for the client. For example: Book a haircut with one person, then add a massage, facial, or sauna session (or all three), onto the haircut. It's a major lost opportunity not being able to do this.

Show more details in a client's history for cancelled appointments
Rather than just showing "cancelled" as a blanket term I would like it to show if it was a late cancel, a now show, or cancelled by staff/client. It would help us be able to track clients show rate more accurately and when to potentially intervene on a chronically late guest, or chronic canceller.

System Updates - Timing Issue
Why aren't the system updates completed late in the evenings, as these interrupt work hours, processing payments, and/or on-line booking/gift card.

We’d love to see a dedicated report for cancelled appointments that can be filtered by:
Staff member (single employee or all)
Date range (ex: 3, 6, 9, 12 months)
Cancellation reason
Right now, cancellations can only be reviewed in the Recent Cancellations list, which isn’t practical for HR tracking over time since it doesn’t support date-range filtering or exporting.
This would be really helpful for performance and retention tracking, and would save a ton of manual review.2 votes -
Offer Code Stacking
Offer codes must be customized to either allow combining with other offers, or disallow use with other offer codes in order to successfully minimize human error and ensure a high degree of accuracy in all checkouts. Ideally the list that can / cannot be combined can be customized. E.g. Friends & Family discount for team members CANNOT be stacked with any other promotions/discounts.

pre purchase services
Lets say a client wants to pre-purchase a service, at this time we cant do that. we would have to make an appointment to sell them the service... We should be able to sell a service without an appointment so they can keep it in their "wallet" to use at a different time.. For example if a service is on special and they want to pre pay/purchase we would have the ability to do so!!!

Ability for Staff to view Client Service History (regardless of Provider) but have the Calendar only show their own appointments
Customer would like the ability to configure permissions that would grant Staff to only see their Calendar/Schedule of upcoming appointments but still be able to see a Client's full history of appointments, regardless of who performed the services.
Currently there is a Permission for Appointments > Everyone's > Summary/Detail. If this is enabled, Staff will be able to view a Client's History of services regardless of which Staff performed that service. However, this also applies to the Calendar/Schedule of upcoming providers and Staff then has a lot of noise to wade through when they just want to see what their…

Client search should allow a wildcard search for phone number
The client search bar should locate the client list by any part of the phone number, ie by searching the last 4 digits of a phone number.
Having to start with area code + prefix is far slower as salon locations are regional, thus the majority of clients share common area code + prefix.
Searching via last 4 digits and confirming visually from the list should be possible and preferred.Searching gmail.com works for email, why not phone numbers?

we cannot toggle between two locations in patient appointments
if a patient needs to reschedule across locations, there is no other option than to cancel the existing appointment and create an entire new one. we have two locations and its not possible to just move an appointment from one location to the other.

Be able to print a patients schedule. We long schedule patients out and there is no where to be able to print that or send to a patient

expiration on gift cards
Our salon has a 1 year expiration date on our gift cards. We would like a way to set that in the system instead of having to just keep up with it

Send text message to employee when their client reschedules
When someone reschedules we never know and get confused when there is a gap on our app schedule, it should send a text message just like it would if someone canceled or booked.

Direct Category Booking Links for Clients
I think it would be super helpful if Boulevard had direct shareable links for booking categories/services.
For example, instead of only sharing the main booking site link and having clients click through each category themselves, it would be amazing if we could directly send a client to a specific category like facials, laser hair removal, injectables, etc. especially through email or SMS.
I think it would make the booking experience much smoother and quicker for clients looking for specific services. Just wanted to share the idea in case it’s something your team may consider in the future!

I would like to know why when a client opts out of receiving marketing emails they don't receive receipts, appointment reminders.
Why does a client no longer receive emails/text messages, purchase receipts, appointment confirmation and reminders when they opt out of receiving marketing materials? Marketing, receipts, and appointments are different then marketing.
