Duo should not require an iPad app connection for checkout
We are one of many boutique hair studio in NYC and have eliminated the 'front desk' We do all our own bookings by email and online and use a laptop in the salon. With the duo, now we have to have the ipad as well just to process with no other functionality needed in the salon for an ipad. The ipad also has to remain off idle/unlock so the Duo app is always working. So the ipad now has to remain on the charger. Card on File Messages
When a client is prompted to add a card on file, they are thinking they've already paid online due to the email confirmation they get. We need to clarify that when putting card on file, they are NOT paying for the service yet. We have had countless clients walk out without paying for their service because of this. Thank you.

Change the Link for Google Review Requests
The link requires the person to have a Google account. Also it does not take them to the correct place. This should be a link that goes directly to the review page. Please add this option!!! The only current option is to go to the place id for Google. Instead, this link should connect directly to the review page. This would also allow people without a Google email and account to go directly to the page. The way it is now it asks the person to sign into their Google account.

Flagging Messages
It would be great if there was a way to flag messages with clients or mark them as unread. Sometimes it can be really difficult if we read a message during the weekend for example but don't want to take action on it while we are not working. It would be nice to have a way to flag the message to come back to when we are back in the salon.

create a pop up alert for blocked clients
There should be a pop up alert for blocked clients that call the salon and try to book over the phone, instead of just disabling the regular booking actions and getting a notification that the service provider does not offer that service. You should not have to go into the client profile to find out that they are blocked. This could cause uncomfortable interactions between the client and support staff.

Improve Booking Notifications Management (Bell icon)
When clients book online, we check each appointment to ensure it it booked correctly. The problem we have is when we open them with the bell icon, there could be over 70 appointments and we are not able to mark them as read individually, which makes this process longer than needed and leaves room for more errors if an appointment is missed. If there is a way to mark a single appointment as read, rather than mark all as read, it would be very helpful.

Allow Businesses to Set Expiration Dates on Gift Cards
There is no nation-wide rule that gift cards cannot expire. Federally it is actually five years so if anything, you should have it set to 5 years and then allow each account to implement their own state wide laws. It is not required by law that you police this. Every other booking company and every other gift card system that I have ever used allows for businesses to implement expiration dates on their gift cards. This would be an easy feature to add since you already have exp dates on series.

Loyalty Points - Redemption Options
This account is asking for the ability to pick the amount of points being redeemed at the time of checkout as opposed to it redeeming all points available Example, from client: "Our struggle is we have some clients that are frequently in the salon but don't have any loyalty to a specific provider. They could end up with a free service due to a lot of accumulated points and the "lucky" provider they had that day takes the hit."
Offered a work around for the time being.

Family Profiles
We have a lot of client's who's entire family uses the salon. It would be helpful to have them all connect to one profiles payment method, contact info, etc. but still have their own individual names. We currently just make separate profiles for each of them, but then when you're messaging the phone number sometimes is automatically associated with the child instead of the adult. Also, when checking out, it's hard to charge the card on file when it's under the parent's profile but not the child's. We have some work arounds, but there's got to be a way to…

Client accounts linked to phone number, not only email address
A lot of patients schedule an appointment with a different email address, and it creates a new profile even though the phone number is the same. I wish the system would recognize that the phone number is already in the system and confirm with the patient whether or not they are new so that we don't have to merge client profiles as often.
