When you have a comparison photo you like, it would be great to have a save to gallery button. Currently you have to do too many steps outside of boulevard to get a comparison saved.

Customer Update Payment Method
Customers email us frequently because they cannot join a waitlist because they cannot update their payment method. Customers should be able to easily update their payment method as it is needed in the booking flow so that they do not exit the booking process out of frustration.

Price Increases automatically updating scheduled appointments
Every year we update service prices to go into effect on Jan 1. However, we book standing appointments for the new year prior to the increase. The prices should automatically update and apply to any future appointments.

Conflict alerts with standing appointments.
When scheduling a standing appointment for the year, we NEED to be able to preview the dates that are being booked. At the very least, there should be an alert for a conflict on any given day. Right now any standign appointment made will book on a holiday/day the business is closed/stylist isnt working or it will just book at the same time as an existing appointment.

Hours booked and future hours sold
We need a report where I can do future forecasting to know how many hours my staff is scheduled and out of those hours how many booked hours are scheduled with appointments. This helps us build their productivity/utilization.

ByPassing booking/deposits for clients who have vouchers/packages
For current clients who currently have vouchers and packages, they should be able to bypass the booking fee online for their treatment rather than being charged for the deposit, as they already have the voucher to use.

Medical Practice Grade Operational & Workflow Enhancements Required
Boulevard’s platform presents well visually, but from an operational standpoint it falls short in supporting the real-world needs of medical and aesthetic practices.
One of the most significant issues is the lack of configurable workflows and meaningful customization within the platform. We do not utilize Boulevard as a merchant processor; we use it for practice operations and medical records. Yet we are given very limited ability to tailor the system to our brand, patient experience, or clinical workflows. For a platform positioned as premium, this limitation is disappointing.

Prompting tip option even when credits cover full total
When a customer has credits that cover their full balance, it completely bypasses the tip option at checkout. There should be the ability to ask them if they want to add a gratuity on their credit card

More detailed Staff Performance Reports for Stylist in the app. Only see their report.
Stylist should be able to see only their reports in the app. The reports should also include more details. Stylist should be able to customize what they want to see in a report. It would be wonderful if the stylist could see their staff performance report in the app. Stylist who are independent/chair renters like to view this information at all times so it is hard on business owners to send out all the time.

Year to Year Comparison
I’d like to see a single report that provides both year-over-year and month-to-month staff performance comparisons. Since our salon operates heavily on goals and performance metrics, having a full annual comparison alongside monthly trends in one report would make tracking performance much easier. This would save time, reduce the need to generate multiple reports, and give a clearer overall picture of staff performance.

Do not work on AI integrations until you have some of these basic features taken care of!
I know everyone is on the AI hype wagon. I am not against AI, but I would love to see work on some suggestions that have been hanging out for over 5 years (turning off tips per provider/service, moving forms between clients, etc...)
It seems like Boulevard is focused on the next big thing all the time and losing track of what made you special: excellent scheduling and a feature rich experience for a variety of salons and spas.
Please take like one month and focus on some of this low hanging fruit, then go chase whatever AI dreams you…

Automated Dynamic Pricing Rules for Peak & Off-Peak Demand
Boulevard currently does not offer a native dynamic pricing feature that allows services to automatically adjust based on demand, such as discounting slower days or applying higher pricing during peak times, weekends, or holidays. Introducing variable pricing rules based on day, time, or date range would allow salons to manage demand more strategically without duplicating services or relying on manual add-ons and policy text to explain price differences.

Gift cards should not have a monetary limit, which is currently set at $500, or a day limit (2 per day). We often have people purchasing gift cards well above the limit which means we have to do several transactions over several days to accommodate them.

Guest Experience Impact: Contact Info Required Before Viewing Dates
Boulevard now requires guests to enter a phone number or email address before they are able to view appointment dates and availability. Previously, guests could browse services, select a professional, and view available times before being asked to provide contact information at the final step of booking.

Mobile Booking User Experience – Add-Ons & Service Options
On mobile, the booking flow becomes unclear when a service includes add-ons or required options.
It isn’t obvious that guests need to scroll to select required options. The top banner remains fixed and takes up a significant portion of the screen, which makes the scrollable area very small and easy to miss.
If a guest doesn’t scroll, required selections and related error messages aren’t visible. When they tap “Select Professional” or try to move forward, nothing appears to happen, which can feel broken or unresponsive rather than instructional.

Client Reschedule Open Across Providers
Currently, clients can only reschedule their appointments with the provider they're currently booked with. This can severely limit the options they see and cause them to cancel instead. This is a big hinderance to retention/revenue, especially with a business not based in provider-request specific booking.
