  1. When you have a comparison photo you like, it would be great to have a save to gallery button. Currently you have to do too many steps outside of boulevard to get a comparison saved.

  2. Be able to individually adjust different cancellation fees based off of service. Not a set $ amount or % because each service/ pricing of service varies

  4. Customers email us frequently because they cannot join a waitlist because they cannot update their payment method. Customers should be able to easily update their payment method as it is needed in the booking flow so that they do not exit the booking process out of frustration.

  5. There are some intake form questions that a business should easily be able to identify per client. For ex - if a client is asked whether they consent to their treatment photos to be shared on social media and they decline, it would be helpful to then add a related tag to the client profile.

  6. Every year we update service prices to go into effect on Jan 1. However, we book standing appointments for the new year prior to the increase. The prices should automatically update and apply to any future appointments.

  7. We’ve found that when clients are asked to complete multiple forms, they often only finish one. This isn’t intentional—it’s usually the result of form fatigue and an overly complicated process.

A simpler solution would make it easy to combine multiple forms into one, add an existing form to another, or copy and move sections between forms. This would reduce repetition, make the experience easier for clients, and save time for staff.

Streamlining forms in this way would lead to higher completion rates, fewer follow-ups, and a smoother, more user-friendly experience overall.

  8. The online gift card system in Boulevard appears to be designed around the assumption that users are buying gift cards for themselves, which does not reflect real-world behavior. In practice, almost all gift cards are purchased as gifts for other people, and the current workflow breaks down because of this.

From the start, the system creates confusion by requiring sign-in and prompting non-account holders to enter “YOUR phone number or YOUR email address,” with no clarity on whether this refers to the purchaser or the intended recipient. Purchasers frequently enter the recipient’s information, assuming that is where the gift card…

  9. Stylist should be able to see only their reports in the app. The reports should also include more details. Stylist should be able to customize what they want to see in a report. It would be wonderful if the stylist could see their staff performance report in the app. Stylist who are independent/chair renters like to view this information at all times so it is hard on business owners to send out all the time.

  11. I know everyone is on the AI hype wagon. I am not against AI, but I would love to see work on some suggestions that have been hanging out for over 5 years (turning off tips per provider/service, moving forms between clients, etc...)

It seems like Boulevard is focused on the next big thing all the time and losing track of what made you special: excellent scheduling and a feature rich experience for a variety of salons and spas.

Please take like one month and focus on some of this low hanging fruit, then go chase whatever AI dreams you…

  12. I have staff who perform certain tasks (laser hair removal vs skin care) on certain days. In order to make the schedule work, I needed to create 2 separate profiles for each of them. You should be able to define their services for the day so that a business only needs 1 profile but clients don't inadvertently book a service on a particular day when the staff is not available.

We operate skin care in a particular room (rooms are not interchangeable based on LHR vs skin care) so it is not enough to know that a staff member will…

  13. When a client changes their phone number , it erases ALL messages tied to that phone number. This is frustrating. Sometimes we refer back to past conversations for information, photos, etc.We are a med/spa office and rely on our system to keep track of all important info such as messages between client, Charting, etc. This would be the equivilent if all of a sudden medical carts went missing. Please fix this

  14. Boulevard now requires guests to enter a phone number or email address before they are able to view appointment dates and availability. Previously, guests could browse services, select a professional, and view available times before being asked to provide contact information at the final step of booking.

This change introduces friction early in the booking flow, particularly for first-time guests who are still in an exploratory phase and simply want to check availability. Requiring personal information before showing dates can feel premature and may reduce trust or willingness to continue, especially compared to platforms that allow guests to view availability…

  15. On mobile, the booking flow becomes unclear when a service includes add-ons or required options.

It isn’t obvious that guests need to scroll to select required options. The top banner remains fixed and takes up a significant portion of the screen, which makes the scrollable area very small and easy to miss.

If a guest doesn’t scroll, required selections and related error messages aren’t visible. When they tap “Select Professional” or try to move forward, nothing appears to happen, which can feel broken or unresponsive rather than instructional.

This creates confusion and friction in the booking experience and likely contributes…

  16. All unread messages should automatically be listed at the top. If a marketing message is sent and there are unread messages they get lost in the shuffle.

  19. Report analytics are important because they provide the data-driven insights needed to make informed decisions, improve performance, and identify new opportunities. The current reporting in Boulevard is just raw data, that we have to export and then create their own analytic reports, which, compared to Square and other POS systems is quite out of date. At a minimum, we need the ability to compare time periods and see change and % change over time.

Here are some ways we would use analytic reports:

    Improved decision-making:
Analytics transform data into actionable insights, allowing managers to make strategic and operational decisions based…
