Deposits for services
Ability to collect a deposit payment for service. Upon cancellation, this deposit will no longer be available to use as a payment type.

CRITICAL. We should be able to send someone a secure link to pay for a package. We had no idea that this simple functionality was not available when we switched over in June. We cannot believe that it is still not resolved. This is a big deal for any provider selling high ticket services.

We book a lot of clients in advance and for those bookings we require a contract and deposit. We currently use a different software program for contracts and then upload the contract to boulevard but the systems do not speak to each other so there is no way for us to record the deposit in boulevard so we are doing double work and a lot of manual work.

IS THIS BEING WORKED ON????? THIS IS CRUCIAL TO SO MANY BUSINESSES AND IS A DAILY HASSLE FOR US.
AN UPDATE WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS THIS HAS BEEN WAITLISTED FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.
EVERY OTHER BOOKING SYSTEM HAS THIS. THIS IS SUCH A BIG DEAL, IT IS WORTH SWITCHING SYSTEMS FOR. -

Clients would be more aware of the commitment, and any cancellations or no shows would feel less surprising or punitive...From my personal experience clients respond and are more communicative when we are already HOLDING on to their money.
As for keeping a card on file the clients Freeze/ Lock their card when they miss their appointment. THAT has been the most frustrating thing of all.
I believe that Upfront deposits could provide a smoother experience overall and could prevent those unhappy moments or reviews after an appointment is missed.

A flat dollar amount is much better for my type of business. Also the ability to add deposit in bulk by category.

We need to NOT take deposits from MEMBERS when they book services as they use service vouchers to pay for the service vs deposit monies. Deposits need to be charged however for NON-MEMBERS.

We have a $75 deposit /no show fee that comes out of deposits and really need to be able to have a dollar amount instead of a %. I have to figure out a deposit % for each treatment making it close to the $75 and it is a pain.

Would LOVE a flat rate option. We have expensive treatments, so the % of service total does not work for us.

Allow clients to enter their credit card information to hold an appointment within the client portal. WITHOUT online booking enabled. Clients will feel more comfortable giving this information to hold their appointment rather than reading the numbers over the phone. (we are not comfortable with online booking yet)

Clients can book several services in a single appointment. Individually, they're less time and cost less, but when stacked together they're obviously more valuable and would be great to be able to collect a deposit once the appointment total reaches a minimum of $100 or 1 hour.

I need to be able to charge 1 booking fee for all my appointments not a percentage based off price of service. Please make this an option. A simple toggle switch to be able to do dollar amount or percentage is all I need.

Hope this happens soon. I came from Vagaro to BLVD, in Vagaro I was able to make an intake form and drop a CC secure link in it. Currently transferring all clients over and it's been a headache to get new cc on file. Was hard enough the first time. This feature would make all our lives easier and clients feel more secure. PLEASE
