No Show fee
On the clients profile there should be a way to initiate a balance due. Maybe balance due can be inserted as a negative number under "account credit".
Or maybe there can be an option to add no show fee upon checkout.
Right now there is absolutely no option for additional fees that aren't taxed or counted as an inventory item.

Status page or email list with known issues
There have been several recent events where there is a known issue with Boulevard that isn't bad enough to warrant a status page update, so it isn't communicated to users. Latest is errors in confirmation emails allowing people to confirm appointments before they should be able to. It would be nice to know that this is a known issue before reaching out to Boulevard support. Either a part of the status page or an email list we can subscribe to for these smaller known issues would be good to have so we are aware.

Stay on selected date when switching from calendar to front desk view
When going back and forth from front desk to calendar view, i think it would be helpful to have the date remain the same whedn switching back and forth rather than returning to todays date.

Pre Authorization of Service amount that goes into effect at the beginning of a cancelation policy
Pre Authorizing the funds on a clients card would insure the stylist gets paid upon cancelation. The current situation leaves the stylist with a "declined" credit card that was placed by he client when making the appointment, thus losing money. The Pre Authorization should go into effect at the beginning of the salons/stylist cancelation policy, and if the Pre Authorization is declined due to any reason including INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, then the appointment can not be made. The PreAuthorization could be "captured" upon check out, or even canceled if the client wants to pay with a different card.

Gift Card purchaser & recipient's names
Gift cards should include the option to attach the purchaser's name and recipient's name to the card. Some clients will buy multiple gift cards and the system doesn't allow for the client to include each person's name they're giving it to. We offer the option for reissuing lost gift cards, but it can be hard to track in system because when it's not in their name or the purchaser bought multiple cards for the same amount or on the same date. There should also be the option to include an expiration date.

Take the Half Dollar Section out of the register count
No one really carries half dollars and if they do we can count them as quarters. I get 2 dollar bills more often then half dollars (Which is super rare in itself) and there is no section for them

Merging Clients should be more like booker
Booker allows you to search by the customer's name, email or phone number and merge all accounts together instead of having to do two at a time. Also, once you've selected all the client profiles to merge, you're provided with the date each profile was created, the last time it was logged into by the client and links to all the orders associated with each account and shows you in a single column which information you've chosen before merging. This also allows you to see which account was used most recently in case you are merging profiles without the client…

Package commision needs changing
When you currently buy a package it is a product with one "seller/service provider" who then gets the lump sum of the commission for themselves when the client is able to see different service providers when booking. This is common here, we have clients who purchase massage packages but like to see 2-3 different therapists but the commission is already paid through the product package sold.
Clients should be able to buy the package with no attached provider and then there needs to be a report that can be run every payroll with the packages redeemed and with which service…

Change client names
Sometimes clients book appointments for themselves and a partner. After they check out I should be able to seperate them and be able to add the significant other on the recept as well

Have a tab in client profiles for soley paperwork or SOAP notes
As massage therapists in the state of Michigan, we are required to fill out SOAP notes for each and every client. Having a place specifically meant for all of the clients paperwork either to upload OR for clients to fill out online would be PERFECT. Not sure what the rules and regulations are in other states but this is a MUST for us!

Be nice if you move the completed tasks to completed tab on here, in progross tab with estimated date. 215 pages of ideas is nerve wracking
215 pages of suggested ideas!! that makes me nervous switching from mindbody next week. Have none of these really been done to be moved to a completed tab? I specifically asked to make sure wont deal w duplicate clients again before i paid to switch but on here it says they dont require email and doesnt recognize that same email if capital or lower case which is nerve wracking as upper or lower case should not matter. If you use email as login then why wouldnt it be required to book online?
