Please add this function. When speaking with someone over text and scheduling their appointment. We need to be able to send them a link so they can input their CC information to collect a deposit.

Some clients prefer to not give credit card information over the phone. It would be great to be able to send a secured link through the message tab to gain the information.

I would really like to see the taking of deposits made easier and more robust. We have $100 fee added to our New Patient services. This works for those booking online. However, those booking over the phone, you're unable to take a deposit, because doing so triggers the system that the appointment is "paid for" and closes the appointment. The only way to do so is to book the appointment, then go and do a quick sale. The issue is these are now separate transactions (not married to the appointment). The other issue is when you or patient cancels the appointment with greater than 24 hours notice, the deposit isn't auto refunded. That creates an issue where returning a deposit is accidentally overlooked. I would love to see a separate call-out and controls over a deposit function.

Have a portal for clients to safely enter credit card information when not booking online
A link to a secure portal for clients to enter their credit card would be a great way to capture payment methods when people schedule via phone or text message. -

Sometimes, clients will call in to book an appointment and don't have a credit card available at the time of booking. They call back in to provide the details. Or they book a Consultation without a credit card, then need to add it at the time they book the service appointment. It would be helpful to have a link we can share for clients to enter their information in, versus calling in.

When clients cancel their appointments or reschedule, their booking deposits remain as credits and they have to pay twice if they were to reschedule, necessitating employee intervention manually. If you allow clients to use their account credits to pay for deposits, they won't have to call us or pay twice when they rebook or cancel outside the period for a fee.

For salons that do not utilize online booking, I would like a way to send a secure link to clients to input their CC info ADDITIONALLY, give that appointment a "pending" status until CC info is captured and/or cancellation policy has not been acknowledged. That way we can see at a glance if that data hasn't been collected.

This would be great as we do not utilize the online booking feature, we book ourselves for greater control. I'm not comfortable asking clients to read their CC info over the phone and that step often gets lost in the shuffle of tasks of the front desk.

Wish there was a way to take deposits thru the booking process.

The 2 step process is difficult and wish there was some way to charge when booking the appointment.

Because I charge a full deposit when booking, my clients with memberships and Vouchers are not able to bypass the deposit which means they have to call to book. This is an inconvenience especially when it comes to automation of the business.

We require a cc to book an appointment. Our previous software had a secure link built into the messaging that we could simply tex the client the link that would apply the cc to their profile. We really utilized that feature and found it helpful for qualifying the client. This is efficient and gets the client used to the fact that we are text friendly.

We do our best to direct clients to book online so that they can fill out their card information. When a client is booking via text, we have to track them down to receive their card information via phone call. PLEASE introduce a way for current clients to add their card on file, or notify us if they haven't already.

I agree that this feature is probably desirable to businesses. But it is likely prudent to collect CC info for this type of client so that no show and cancellation policies can be abided by. Not too sure how all the T&C across Blvd clients take into account how said fees are charged and whether they can be deducted from ACCT balance/gift cards in the case that no CC on file exists.
