Custom Automated Text Messages
Today we manually text message clients when certain actions or appointments are booked/take place. It would be great if we could build this message workflow and automate these steps. We have been complimented on our customer communication methods and this form of automation would ensure no client is being left behind.
For example:
RELEASED AFTER AN ONLINE CANCELLATION BY A CLIENT:
Hi XXXXX - Thank you for letting us know about your cancellation. It is appreciated. Did you have an alternative date and time in mind that we could hold for you? XXXX @ Lash Lovers
RELEASED THE DAY BEFORE A FULL SET OF LASHES - FOR NON MEMBER
Hi XXXXXX - We are looking forward to seeing you for your new full set of eyelash extensions tomorrow! We have prepared this helpful guide on how to prepare for your visit to achieve the best results. The "Prep" section is the most useful - https://www.lashlovers.com/first-visit. I would love to be able to schedule a follow up automated text after initial visit asking how the patient is doing. Some of our treatments take a few weeks to notice results and this would make our lives easier if it is customizable and automated. Please build this out!

To help cut down on no shows or last second cancellations we would love the ability to add one more SMS text reminder to the current ones available. A lot of people need that last minute reminder (I'm guilty of this as well) to say something like ..... Don't forget, your appointment at (company) is at (Time) Can't wait to see you! Or something to that regard. I believe this last ditch reminder effort would go a long way on cutting down on no shows plainly because people forget they had an appointment often.

to automate a text response upon an event. For example when a client confirms the system could send a follow up custom text. "would you like to add on a 15 min hand massage? press y for yes"

We'd love to see the availability to adjust the timing appointment confirmations are sent out. Ideally we'd like to send out 1 a couple days prior to the appointment & another a couple hours before the appointment.

Our clients were used to text confirmations, as well as e-mail confirmations. Just an idea :)

Send out an automated text message that goes to clients day of to let them know to text the same number back when they arrive and the stylist will confirm when they are ready to be seen. Keeps things contactless for COVID - something booker accommodates currently.

Customized reminder text or email to be sent out a few weeks/months after certain services.
Ex. If a client gets a balayage service, and if they haven't prebooked, in 4 weeks they get sent a reminder text or email to book their gloss/toner appointment.
I believe Acuity Scheduling already does this because I get sent reminder emails from the esthetician who does my lashes.
