We have taken to using square for offsite events and then doing weird transactions in boulevard to get inventory right because of this issue. Such a pain. The professional app should connect directly to the duo and let you have the full checkout experience.

Same! I don't mind things being somewhat opinionated, but it goes way too far with Boulevard. I find myself trying to come up with ways to work around limitations in almost all areas of the software on a regular basis!

This should be the case on all of the screens. Update an inventory item, you are taken back to the top. Look at an order, taken back to plain sales screen no matter where you started from. I wish Boulevard operated a business that used the software so they could see how painful some of this is on a daily basis!

Support has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. I originally had a dedicated rep that reached out once a month, then quarterly, and now I don't even know if I have a rep anymore. And most of the support people have been less than helpful and much slower response times than we used to have. I feel like Boulevard is a black box that puts out software. I am not sure if or where the humans inside may be, but it is definitely hard to find them.

we use text expander instead of the phrases. It is so much more flexible, and it works in any application, not just Boulevard.
It still doesn't hep with the hot mess that is offers, but it may help you desk to get more useful texts written
