We require a cc to book an appointment. Our previous software had a secure link built into the messaging that we could simply tex the client the link that would apply the cc to their profile. We really utilized that feature and found it helpful for qualifying the client. This is efficient and gets the client used to the fact that we are text friendly.

We do our best to direct clients to book online so that they can fill out their card information. When a client is booking via text, we have to track them down to receive their card information via phone call. PLEASE introduce a way for current clients to add their card on file, or notify us if they haven't already.

I agree that this feature is probably desirable to businesses. But it is likely prudent to collect CC info for this type of client so that no show and cancellation policies can be abided by. Not too sure how all the T&C across Blvd clients take into account how said fees are charged and whether they can be deducted from ACCT balance/gift cards in the case that no CC on file exists.

If the client cancels far enough in advance (not a late cancellation or no show) then they should automatically be refunded the cost of their appointment.

Account Credit is a location-specific feature that must be enabled to apply account credit as a payment method in checkout. Currently, deposits are able to be set for services without enabling the feature which causes confusion at checkout when account credit cannot be used. If account credit has not been enabled yet, the user should receive an alert to do so before setting a deposit.

This would be instrumental in the development of our ability to take deposits. At current, deposits are an online only process and all phone and in person bookings require the staff to be EXTRA vigilant and aware of steps that seem like workarounds to take deposits. Making it mandatory would better support all businesses and create a more reliable business model for Blvd clients.

We have been using 100% Booking Deposit but would prefer to have everyone pay $50 non-refundable booking fees for their entire appointment.
Right now there is no way to do that as we can only set on the basis of each service. So 100% each service, 50% each service, and if we did a fixed amount it would be multiplied by the fixed amount. We just want an option to have them pay a fixed amount per entire cart of an appointment.

We require a cc to held the appointment. We would like to be able to text or email the client so they can add in the cc info on their own.

We have to double check every checkout to ensure they dont have accound credits from booking online. The deposit paid should AUTOMATICALLY go toward the appointment booked. When appointments are cancelled, we should have the option to refund or not refund the appointment payment/deposit.

Some services are charged by the unit and we cannot give a client a price until they come in person. We need to be able to charge straight $ amount deposits.... This is a must!

Mangomint has this feature:
Make booking appointments over the phone easier and faster than ever before while avoiding mistakes.
Give clients a way to review and confirm their booking details, enter their credit card information, and accept your cancellation policy through a link in a text message.

if a client self cancels within the cancellation policy timeframe, they should recieve an auto refund. They should also be able to reschedule without having to put down another deposit. Switching to Blvd was supposed to relieve me of multiple extra duties, not add another job for me! please consider this idea! <3 thx

When booking appointments we require a cc to hold the appointment. Our old software had a secure link that we could share via text with them to securely enter their information. We need a secure link to share, that automatically enters the information to their account. We also need a message back to us after they enter their information.
