See if a client is on the waitlist after booking an appointment
We've had people book an appointment, but still be on the waitlist for a day further out. It would be nice to see in their profile the days they're on the waitlist for, so we're able to remove from all days once we're able to get them in. This has caused us to double contact a few people who'd been in, but still been on the waitlist. Just not sure the best way to track this.

Appointment Type
It would be great to appointment types. New Non-Requests (NN), Repeat Requests (RR) and New Requests (NR). It helps greatly to know these stats for employee growth. What percent of their clients are repeat clients, what percent were their clients recommending them (NR) and how many were New Non Request, clients the salon gave to the stylist or colorist (NN). Way more important than Tags to us.

A time tracker for when clients go into appointments and check out.
when you move a client to active it would be nice to have a time stamp to ensure the client is receiving their full appt time.

Require guest email and be able to tie to existing client profiles
When an existing client is booked in a group appointment as a guest it would be great if an email was required that could then acknowledge they're already a client instead of creating a blank, second profile

Bring back editing staff requested
Used to be able to open closed orders and change if a service provider was requested or not. Would like that function back
Example: Provider added services to an appointment and he was marked as requested for those services when he shouldn't have been. Wasn't corrected at checkout and now there's no way to go back and edit the requests which is throws reporting

Allow for scheduling staff members on an every other week rotation. Currently we have to add in staff on a wkly rotation and manually adjust if they work an every other weekend schedule.

add "reason for change/cancellation" when clients self-cancel or self-reschedule
currently we can only note this if the provider cancels for the client, but we want to know why clients change their appts when they change it on their own

app for messages
It would be awesome if there was a separate messenger app just for messages. There could be a team group tab where it would be a group message and then you can also text clients (an option to unread messages would be great too!)

package credit/voucher - making packages
I saw that packages can now be applied as a credit which is great but the vouchers really need to be taking out the cost of services before the employee split.
Also, we should be able to put a custom package together at checkout instead of having to pre-make every package. We customize packages for clients all the time. It could be like we pick which services we want them to have, have them pay and it puts a credit on their account for those services only, or a voucher for each service, but the voucher needs to take out…

Add a flag to messages that it needs follow up, further info or attention
add a flag for messages that need further attention or review, or more info. Or at least make message unread to others can see it and notice. When you have multiple people looking at message and then a bunch of others come thru they get lost.... some sort of way to know this need follow up. thanks

Add Service Provider Titles to Booking Confirmations
Please include Service Provider Titles to Booking Confirmations. General feedback from clients was to include titles as the Last Name. The Service Providers have different levels of experience, so this allows the client to choose appropriately when scheduling their service.

Better product reports with unit costs
There needs to be the ability to see Product Sales with unit cost on same report. This would reflect the bottom line in order to calculate our net revenue. Currently you have Gross product sales and Net product sales. But net is only net of any discounts, not net of the cost of the product. So really you need an option for columns with gross product sales, discounts applied, cost of products sold and finally, net product revenue. This is the information as a business owner i need to see to compare profit margins etc.
It would also be helpful…

Add the ability to bulk add time blocks for all staff members at once.
This would be really useful for instances when we're having a company meeting and need to ensure the provider's are blocked from booking so they are able to attend.

Require a deposit or paying for service upfront from select clients i.e ones that have a history of no-shows are constant rescheduling.
This feature would allow us to set a client accommodation that requires a deposit or payment in full upon booking from particular clients. This would help with clients that have a history of no-shows or chronic rescheduling.
