  5. There is alot of booking info that needs to be relayed between the booking department and the staff. When we add notes, nobody is seeing them because they don't remember to go into the client profile to check notes. The tags don't work for extensive notes. There should be an icon on the appointment as a visible indicator there is a note on the appointment.

    Booking notes as well as check out notes are often left un read and can cause the business to look bad when a client was told a note would be left for them.

  10. It feels nothing reads each other. You void a purchase order but for the inventory count to reflect you still have to go in and do an inventory adjustment? Doesn't make sense. Extremely frustrating and so easy for counts to be off. Do not feel confident with my inventory numbers. Professional and Retail items.

  12. When client books an appointment the technician automatically get a confirmation booking. If the client decides to add another service with a separate provider, that provider DOES NOT receive an alert that a booking has been made. This added service is done through the EDIT mode. Unless providers are glued to the app, they may very well not notice that a service is being added to their schedule. They receive texts for cancellation and original bookings. Can we please have an alert mechanism for editing an existing appointment? Thanks

  13. With a large service book, we need to at times, and at least annually make changes to the price book. Ideally we should be able to set a date and time as to when the price change will be activated. This means we can work on any significant changes, then announcement ahead of time to guests. Then the prices all go live. Eg. Jan 1st changes for the new year. We can build the changes out now to go live Jan 1st.

  18. It would be great if I could create a 'New Sale' without adding the client info into the system. We have alot of walkin's from nearby hotels that we would prefer are left out of metric reports since they will not be returning to the business. In our former software the option in the register was 'Anonymous Male' 'Anonymous Female'

  19. We are one of many boutique hair studio in NYC and have eliminated the 'front desk' We do all our own bookings by email and online and use a laptop in the salon. With the duo, now we have to have the ipad as well just to process with no other functionality needed in the salon for an ipad. The ipad also has to remain off idle/unlock so the Duo app is always working. So the ipad now has to remain on the charger.   20. We currently have more demand than we have supply at our nail studio and therefore a lot of our regulars are frustrated that they cannot get their next appointment until a month out from their last. So we had the thought of maybe closing our books to new guests until we can hire more. Would be nice to have this flexibility.
