Task Management
There needs to be a way to assign tasks to providers. If a provider needs their nurse or assistant to call in a medication for a pt, there should be a way to the provider to assign that task to the nurses profile.

I’d love to see a few enhancements to Personal Tasks/Blocked Time:
• Privacy toggle: Allow us to mark personal tasks or blocked time as private so other team members only see that the time is unavailable—not the reason. For example, a doctor’s appointment could simply appear as “Private.”
• More note space: Increase the character limit for notes so we can include additional details when needed.
These small updates would make Personal Tasks much more useful while also protecting team members’ privacy.

**Patient follow-up tasks and provider notifications**
When a patient calls or messages about a side effect, medication refill, treatment question, or booking need, staff need a way to:
* Document the request in the patient’s chart
* Assign it to the appropriate team member
* Notify that person
* Track it until follow-up is completedThis is critical for patient safety, but it also prevents missed bookings, improves retention, and protects revenue by ensuring every patient request receives timely follow-up.

Our previous scheduling software had the ability to assign follow ups to staff with a due date. You could assign multiple staff to a follow up. Once the follow up was complete they would mark it as complete, which would take it off the follow up list. You could set a general follow up OR you could set a follow up that was part of a client account. This would be incredibly helpful so clients don't get missed for services they need scheduled.

Allow a note for staff when they clock in. A pop up to allow for reminders or tasks that need to be completed during their shift.
"Remember to call Sally if her products are ready for pick up" or "Remember to check off all items on the closing checklist before clocking out"
Or fun messages of encouragement.
"You are amazing, thanks for being a part of our team!" -

this is a hugeeee limitation with Boulevard! In all other EMR platforms I've worked in we had internal "tasking". We could title the task, add details, assign to one/multiple team members, add a due date, a priority level, and set the status (open, in progress, finalizing, etc). Add ongoing notes to the task itself, attach documents. Attach to a patient. Each section was customizable so I could alter the status types to say whatever I wanted/was relevant.

This is very critical for HRT patient flow as well. We need an internal task list for employees and providers

A task or to do list for the front desk that can be added to daily and checked off when completed. This will help with call backs, reminder, patient prescriptions, etc

Tasks are essential in a medical practice because they ensure nothing falls through the cracks. They help the team stay organized with follow-ups, lab reviews, medication questions, and patient concerns.
They also improve patient care by ensuring timely responses, which builds trust and keeps patients engaged in their treatment.
For providers and staff, tasks create clear communication and accountability—everyone knows what needs to be done and by who—making the entire clinic run more efficiently.

I need a way to set "tasks" with deadlines for staff. For example, follow up with Jane Doe regarding laser package. These tasks should not show or disrupt their booking calendar.

We often need to document a phone message, or lab results, or need to create or complete a "task" of some sort for patients. Can we please create a "task" schedule or tab that we can see for patients. Currently our work around now is scheduling an appointment so we can document the task, but it will send the patient an appointment reminder if you create which confuses the patient. So a way to create and complete tasking for various items in charts without having to create an appointment would be extremely helpful.

When staff members need to communicate about clients via EMR. Or as task list for staff, for example doctor needs to message nurse about following up with a client in 2 weeks. The doctor puts that task in the EMR, and then in 2 weeks, that task pops up for the nurse to do.

My salon uses time blocks to let certain employees know about tasks that need to be done at that time / for that day. We want to be able to add notes to the time block, instead of it just being one long title that runs off the edge of the note.
Ideally we can open a time block and see a longer note inside of it, just like notes on a client's appointment.

YES! We need a To Do list available in the front desk tab for tasks to be consolidated within Boulevard instead of in another app or Sticky Notes. They should be able to be assigned to an employee and given a Priority level.
