  1. There have been several recent events where there is a known issue with Boulevard that isn't bad enough to warrant a status page update, so it isn't communicated to users. Latest is errors in confirmation emails allowing people to confirm appointments before they should be able to. It would be nice to know that this is a known issue before reaching out to Boulevard support. Either a part of the status page or an email list we can subscribe to for these smaller known issues would be good to have so we are aware.

  2. Pre Authorizing the funds on a clients card would insure the stylist gets paid upon cancelation. The current situation leaves the stylist with a "declined" credit card that was placed by he client when making the appointment, thus losing money. The Pre Authorization should go into effect at the beginning of the salons/stylist cancelation policy, and if the Pre Authorization is declined due to any reason including INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, then the appointment can not be made. The PreAuthorization could be "captured" upon check out, or even canceled if the client wants to pay with a different card.

  4. No one really carries half dollars and if they do we can count them as quarters. I get 2 dollar bills more often then half dollars (Which is super rare in itself) and there is no section for them

  5. Booker allows you to search by the customer's name, email or phone number and merge all accounts together instead of having to do two at a time. Also, once you've selected all the client profiles to merge, you're provided with the date each profile was created, the last time it was logged into by the client and links to all the orders associated with each account and shows you in a single column which information you've chosen before merging. This also allows you to see which account was used most recently in case you are merging profiles without the client…

When you currently buy a package it is a product with one "seller/service provider" who then gets the lump sum of the commission for themselves when the client is able to see different service providers when booking. This is common here, we have clients who purchase massage packages but like to see 2-3 different therapists but the commission is already paid through the product package sold.

    Clients should be able to buy the package with no attached provider and then there needs to be a report that can be run every payroll with the packages redeemed and with which service…

    This is not a planned priority for Boulevard at this time however we will continue to evaluate the needs of our customers against consumer protection measures defined by federal and state laws when considering this feature for development. 

  10. Sometimes clients book appointments for themselves and a partner. After they check out I should be able to seperate them and be able to add the significant other on the recept as well

  12. We would like to see more descriptive text confirmations for clients with multiple appointments in one day. At this time, clients receive separate text confirmations for each appointment and it does not say the type of service and/or service provider name in the text confirmation.

    One particular client was booked for a Manicure at 10am and Pedicure at 10:45am, immediately following. The client received two separate text confirmations and on different days. The client showed up at 10:45am, thinking that her appointment was rescheduled to a later time.

  13. When there is a repetitive customer that no-shows, can the system prompt us when scheduling the customer to let us know that the customer has no showed "x" amount of times so we can decide to make an appointment or decline the customer

  15. 215 pages of suggested ideas!! that makes me nervous switching from mindbody next week. Have none of these really been done to be moved to a completed tab? I specifically asked to make sure wont deal w duplicate clients again before i paid to switch but on here it says they dont require email and doesnt recognize that same email if capital or lower case which is nerve wracking as upper or lower case should not matter. If you use email as login then why wouldnt it be required to book online?

  16. ability to add multiple internal appointment notes along with who added the note and when. would help keep track of internal notes between multiple front desk members. similar to how rescheduled appointments show who and when it was moved.

  18. This would be automatically updated as all staff need to have Blvd accounts and anytime staff depart we deactivate them. It being available from a button somewhere (perhaps the staff pulldown menu on Calendar and Front Desk View having an item called Staff Contact List).

  20. You can only see about 30 closed text conversations right now. These can often consist of almost all confirmation texts. It would be very useful to see a much longer history in case a conversation was accidentally closed and you need to get back to it.
