Scan Inventory In and Out
Would love to be able to use the barcode scanner to "scan in" and "scan out" inventory. So as you scan an item it adds to the number received.

To better control and streamline inventory, it would be awesome if inventory could be scanned in and out. For example, a new purchase order is created based off an order placed. Once it comes in, the person unboxing the order can scan in each item and it add it to the purchase order automatically. Also, when product is removed from inventory for service use, it would be awesome if providers could grab the product, scan it, and it automatically remove it from inventory (lets say this scanner is set up to a specific setting or product use page as well). To manually add and remove inventory at our med spa is really hard to keep clean with how much product we use and how many employees we have.

We have a client named "backbar" and we scan all backbar items in a purchase ticket and discount it 100%. It isn't ideal, but so much faster than manually adjusting. We just run a report of the items sold to backbar

I would like to be able to scan professional use products out of inventory instead of manually adjusting the quantities.

I see this idea was submitted nearly three years ago. Is Boulevard ever going to address this need? I agree with the previous comments that this would save hours of time.

ensuring that a SKU as well as a UPC is scannable for this would be super helpful as not all of our products have UPCs.

We have a "back bar" client set up and we just open a sales ticket and scan all of the backbar color for the day. I can get a report of backbar usage just by looking at sales for that client. Our accounting works well to just discount everything 100%, but you could us a custom payment type of that would work better. The discount helps because it doesn't show as product sales to mess up your reports.
It isn't ideal, but SOO much faster than using the usage tool in Boulevard.

Scanning products such as color for inventory usage at the end of a work day is time consuming and cumbersome. It would be much more efficient if when you scanned a product for usage, it automatically adjusted the inventory by -1 and you could scan products one after the other without having to touch the mouse/trackpad and computer screen to "x" out of the currently selected/scanned sku. It would save our front desk HOURS of time if this were more efficient.
