  4. Boulevard’s platform presents well visually, but from an operational standpoint it falls short in supporting the real-world needs of medical and aesthetic practices.

    One of the most significant issues is the lack of configurable workflows and meaningful customization within the platform. We do not utilize Boulevard as a merchant processor; we use it for practice operations and medical records. Yet we are given very limited ability to tailor the system to our brand, patient experience, or clinical workflows. For a platform positioned as premium, this limitation is disappointing.

  6. Our salon needs commission tiers with a layered structure, e.g., $1-2500 = 40% of that amount. Then, the amount between 2500-3500 could receive 45%, and 3500-5000 = 50%, and so on. This should also include an hourly and commission option to fulfill state minimum wage requirements that can be reflected in the commission totals. (minimum hourly rate; or rate desired would work randomly with the commission totals showing that the hourly totals could be nullified by commission amounts if desired.)

  7. I would like to submit an idea. I feel for text messaging in the med spa business is very important, especially in such a fast paced time like today. But since we are paying for those certain amount of texts, if we happen to not use all of them, I feel it would be nice to have them rolled over. I think once a med spa gets busier, even with the rolled over usages, it'll still go over what's given in that package so it'll be a win win situation for both sides.

  12. The cards that are store in the payment methods should also be an option to use in the membership payment options. If a client changes the card on file and deletes the old card, the membership still charges that card that was deleted from the payment section. When I added the clients new card to the membership payment it also shows up in the payment section as an option to charge. It should go both ways whatever cards in the payment methods should able to be selected without having to retrieve the card number from the client again. I see…

  19. The new permissions are a great addition to the program.

    I am still struggling to figure out how some of the permissions work based on the descriptions. Having a little help icon on all of the administration pages to show what permission setting controls that page would be very helpful and intuitive.

  20. Currently, commissions must be enabled separately for each location an Aesthetician is assigned to. This creates unnecessary administrative work and increases the risk of inconsistencies across locations.

    Proposed Enhancement

    Allow commission settings to be enabled and managed once within an Aesthetician's profile. Once configured, those commission settings would automatically apply to all locations assigned to that Aesthetician.

    Benefits

    Reduces repetitive setup and maintenance tasks.
    Ensures commission consistency across all assigned locations.
    Simplifies onboarding when adding an Aesthetician to new locations.
    Minimizes configuration errors and missed commission assignments.
