Inventory Tracking Enhancement: Lot Numbers and Expiration Dates
This feature would introduce the ability to track lot numbers and expiration dates for inventory items. Currently, the system only allows input of quantities, SKU/UPC, pricing, cost, category, and brand information. The proposed enhancement would:
- Add fields for lot numbers and expiration dates in the inventory management system
- Enable tracking of products by lot, improving traceability
- Allow for better management of perishable or time-sensitive inventory
- Facilitate easier recalls or identification of expired products
- Enhance reporting capabilities to include lot and expiration information
This feature would be particularly beneficial for businesses dealing with perishable goods, pharmaceuticals, or any products where batch tracking is crucial for quality control and regulatory compliance.

This is a critical issue for medspas. We need to be able to have traceability linked to charts as well as inventory and it deducted from that inventory. I also came from AR’s EMR and this was available. I was told by the boulevard sales rep that people outgrow AR and come over to boulevard but I’m just not seeing the medspa capabilities to par.

This isn’t only helpful for medical aesthetic practices documenting lot number and expiration is required documentation. It is very inconvenient to do this currently. I moved from AR and the process there was efficient and easy for providers.

in addition to everything listed above as a medical practice the ability to input more details on inventory is IMPERATIVE as we manage inventory down to the milligram usage and milligram pricing.
PLEASE FACILITATE to have set up, tracking and reporting available for inventory items with net cost, price and retail allowing option to easily choose what is visible to client view and internal view.
enable product items to have inventory descriptions with option to populate on their receipt for compliance purposes such as medical disclaimers etc.
compliment this with reporting that can reflect:
-purchase order $ amounts spent
-product and service sales
gross vs net revenue after factoring the cost based on purchase order amounts
-usage
-average per service and/or client etc. -

We need a way to track expiring inventory. There should be a place that tracks when product is about to expire.

This is extremely important for medical aesthetic clinics - we need to be tracking lot numbers of medications - this would also mean that we need enhanced charting capabilities

This would also make it easier to update the price we paid for a product. Occasionally, we purchase neurotoxin at a lower price, and without the ability to adjust this easily, it can appear as though we have much more value in product than we really do. AR had this feature, and it was the one useful aspect they provided.

This would be very very helpful, especially because if a patient ever has a complication or non-response to treatment, the suppliers always want to know the lot numbers so they can track AEs and replace the product for us if needed.

Seriously IT team. This is such a critical aspect for any medical spa. This shouldn't be that hard to add. Get this added ASAP. I seriously almost canceled by signing on when I found out you don't have this capability.

YES - It would also be nice if traceability was linked when you're doing MARK UP to the photo, or at least at check out with lot number and expiration for items such as filler etc... we have to go and MANUALLY type in how many units we use each time as well as the lot and expiration date and it is really time consuming!
I hated AR but this was the best feature - you would just mark how many units on the face, itd be added at the check out and you could easily put in traceability... seems like an easy fix. if AR who SUCKS can do it (lol) im sure ya'll can!
