Send clients a notification when cancelling an appt
I have to spend a lot of time answering emails from clients asking me if their appointment was cancelled successfully.

Staff messaging
The ability to create a message that each staff member must read before they clock in for the day. For instance: "Our new promotion is starting today." or "Reminder, we are closing early on Tuesday."
This will ensure the staff member reads the message and is informed or reminded of a policy, store change, etc.

Ability to send from client profile to client email (or SMS) a Welcome page/link to set up their online booking account
Also ability to send password reset emails to client if client requests it.
I can imagine it like this:At checkout front desk lets client know they can book their next appointment online. "OH WOW didn't know you can do that"

Keep Staff Color for background when using service colors
Keeping the staff color for active times would be very beneficial. Our staff color codes mean different things, and it would be nice to keep their color for the background of their working hours instead of the gray while still being able to have the services colored based on our preferences.

Way to administratively void account credit without it posting to sales reports
Useful if account credit is set to expire or was in error. At current no way to do this.

Beta Reports insights. Need some more amazing beta reports so that businesses can continue improving ourselves for our staff

** A way of listing per period of time the operators and concrete data on:
*** Percent/amount of products sold (to promote higher selling staff)
*** Transaction fees accomplished under them (so businesses can understand which staff are using what methods of payment and punish or mitigate)

*** Adjustments made to appointments (amount to see who are being pushed around by staff or clients more than others empirically)

Give the business the ability for a client to pre-pay a membership, to pay one month in cash, make a payment for another member as a gift, apply gift cards to membership payments etc.

Purchase Orders / Apply Vendor Discounts
Many times we purchase products, retail or backbar and the vendor does a promotion or monetary discount. It would be lovely to have a option to apply an "offer" or percentage discount in the purchase orders directly to maintain accurate reporting of inventory and their cost value.

Deposits that are not completely used for the services rendered should be automatically refunded to the client at that order completion.
Or perhaps give businesses the option to enable this. Right now we are over quoting most deposit services just so that there is no shock with pricing on checkout. But with boulevard we are unknowingly making our clients think we are holding onto their deposits for selfish reasons. An option to have the remaining deposits refunded to the customers on this checkout would be great, also a prompt on the ipad letting them know this. When ringing out or booking an appointment, add on menu automatically pops up like on online booking
Love the add on feature for services, for online booking. But would be awesome if when booking on the app, or on the dashboard, or even checking out a guest that when that service is selected the add on menu pops up automaticall and you can pick the options that apply, would help the flow of appointment booking when booking clients, and would also help when a new stylist/employee checks out a client that they can add on multiple items to that ticket so they know whats included in the prices etc.

On Client Profile > History; the Appointment History and Order History should be made so...
...that for long term clients it is not a doomscroll to find things. Possibly two separate tabs or done as two sub-tabs would solve this.

Booking In Safari browser
Hello Boulevard,
I just received this email from a client and wanted to pass it along
"I often have trouble booking on Safari, everything works until I have to hit the "add $37-42" button after selecting a stylist; that button seems to work on Chrome but not on Safari."

Waitlist Notes
You can not edit notes on the waitlist if the date a client requested is in the past. Sometimes our staff misses these requests or a client will request to come in a day we are closed. Our salon likes to write notes such as, "Left Voicemail 12/01" but if a client requests to come in on Sunday (when we are closed) & you do not notice until Monday you cannot add a note that you "left a voicemail" since the requested appointment time is now in the past. Reports on Messages such as # sent/received day by day or date range and by operator
Would be fantastic to see data on when messages are received or sent, how many, and by which operators. Also would be good to know data such as how many of the automated appt confirmation messages are going out, coming back, average response time, how many did not respond at all.
