  1. When you are looking at, for example, a summary report for sales, and it says there were 14 transactions, if you click on 14, it will open up the data behind that number so you can look at the actual line by line 14 transactions that made up that data.

  3. A custom report option that allows us to see the necessary information when inputting payroll, with the form of payment included in the report.
    What the client purchases:
    Service, Product, tax, gratuity, gift card sale, wholesale purchase.
    Form of Payment:
    Card, check, cash, venmo, barter, etc.

    Currently, we need to run multiple reports or double-check the calendar. Many more steps than are necessary.

  4. Would be beneficial to able to see more New vs Returning data in reports.

    Examples:
    1) Referral Sources Report shows New Clients and Returning Clients, but then aggregates all the data for the rest of the report. Being able to filter the rest of the data (total sales and services, etc) for just new clients and just returning clients would show salons just how much revenue is coming in from new clients during a time period.

    2) Staff Performance Report shows New and Returning clients, but then aggregates sales and prebook rates. Separating prebook rates for New and Returning clients…

  5. Report analytics are important because they provide the data-driven insights needed to make informed decisions, improve performance, and identify new opportunities. The current reporting in Boulevard is just raw data, that we have to export and then create their own analytic reports, which, compared to Square and other POS systems is quite out of date. At a minimum, we need the ability to compare time periods and see change and % change over time.

  7. We are tracking our providers' utilization % of their hours scheduled. Unfortunately when a shift is marked as unavailable (due to a holiday), it does not subtract those hours from their hours scheduled. For example, if i have an employee that normally works 36 hours a week and one day is a holiday, it will still say their hours scheduled is 36 and even if the other four days of the week were fully booked, their utilization % will look like they had a completely empty day. This means holiday weeks/months have to be done manually.

  9. Please create an Appointment Report with actual patient names, service names, rather than patient ID and service ID. (Information without actual name is pretty much useless. )

    Aesthetic Record has this report called "Booking History" that shows all the bookings, rescheduling, and cancellation in one report, that was very useful for our operation. We don't miss their platform at all, but I think that something like that on Boulevard would be very, very helpful. Thank you for your consideration.

  10. Members should be properly categorized in Blvd in a way that allows for us to filter client lists and reports by membership status. This should include automated membership tags. EX: Attach a tag to a membership that will apply to a client when it's actively on their profile

  12. It would be really helpful to have an option to pull a report listing all current packages with pricing and voucher details. Like a quick reference "master copy" for staff to refer to for pricing. I have staff that are part time and sometimes need to look up pricing (especially on items we don't sell a ton of).

    We can do this with services, but not the packages our services are in. It doesn't make sense not to have that option.

  14. I would like a report that shows invoiced and paid services and products including taxes for the month. Currently, it does not let me filter out credits that have not been applied to services which shows incorrect income

  17. A metric to track how many appointments were scheduled (created) during the date range would be very helpful to know how productive the front desk was. It can be used to show a growth in front desk productivity in getting clients to rebook.

  18. As a salon owner, the staff retention report should have an option to filter new clients per service provider. This would allow us to more accurately track how many new clients, versus existing clients, are returning to the salon.

  19. Discontinue the second daily journal entry you send to Quickbooks Online Edition (QBO). I can't understand the point of it but it's completely wrong and I have to go through QBO each month and delete it. I mean, it's obvious that whoever maintains the app connection to QBO doesn't really understand accounting, and the upshot is a lot of extra work for the accountants.
