Update logic on previous period for new business summary report
The new business summary report has some wonderful insights! One small change I would like to see in the logic:
When looking at "[time period] to date" reports, the previous period is based on how many days you are seeing. So a week to date report for today(Friday) is showing 6 days for the week, but the previous period data is showing 6 days prior. So I am comparing Monday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, etc... Year to date right now shows data from 212 days prior, which becomes very meaningless.
The logic for the "previous period" in these cases should default to the length of the period, so I am looking at Monday to Monday, or January 1 to January 1.
The timing is correct when looking at completed periods (last month, last week, a past date range, etc...) It is just the "to date" reports that are wonky.
