send an email to all of boulevards client (like me) that there is a suggestion out there to be voted on. otherwise we dont know
let your clients know when there is a new suggestion so that we can vote.

I think defaulting to "sort by new" would help people discover things that they never thought of. When you sort by "hot" or "top" it just helps people jump on a bandwagon. When you sort by new you can find out that there are lots of ideas that you may support, but just didn't know to look for.
I also think highlighting voting and the option to add ideas would help with feedback, maybe when sending out NPS emails - have a link to submit ideas.
