Break down Products into different categories for more complex inventory tracking
Currently, Boulevard categorizes sales into Services and Products. It would be incredibly helpful if Products could be further divided into two categories for more precise reporting. For example, in an aesthetic practice, we sell physical products that clients take home, such as skincare and hair care items. We also sell in-office products, like injectables, that are used on the client during their visit. Having separate categories for these would improve tracking and reporting efficiency!

We have multiple products used with every procedure we perform. We need to be able to keep track of these products accurately. Once a procedure is performed, we should be able to attach as many products as we would like to any given procedure and accurately input what was used during the procedure. Also, there should be alerts attached to the products to inform us when we need to purchase more. This will regulate waste as well as streamline our operations to provide us ease of ordering and receiving. We will even be able to see what we no longer use and can discontinue products that aren't moving. This will help tremendously with the day-to-day operations.

Inventory is a disaster, others have better for half the price boulevard charges.

We use products for Botox and Filler. WE NEED TO BE able to create injectable (product) packages. We pre-sell Botox packages and are only able to do account credits. This doesnt make sense. NEED THIS ASAP.

We add all of our color to inventory and track usage by tearing off the tab of the box and dropping it in a can at the color bar. Once a day our front desk creates a ticket for a client named Backbar and adds all of the color that is used. The color all goes into inventory at $0 price and $0 cost so it doesn't mess up any pricing reports, but the inventory is correct.
I think an easier system to track all of this would be super helpful though!

I would love for it all to be in one place. I am not interested in a scale or things like that more so to know what we've ordered and used vs. not. Not sure how this can be done but would just love a way to keep color inventory and things like foils in one place instead of adding another service for me to keep track of:)

It would also be nice if traceability was linked at check out with lot number and expiration for items such as filler etc... we have to go and MANUALLY type in how many units we use each time as well as the lot and expiration date and it is really time consuming.

-I would love to see a feature that automatically alerts you when your inventory levels are running low.
-scan UPC codes into inventory instead of manually entering the numbers per unit
-easy bulk entries and edits for SKU's -

For the adjust quantities option: I'd like to be able to change or delete the ones that don't get used often.
- The ones I use most are "usage" but that isn't very specific. I'd like to be able to denote if the product got pulled for use on back bar or for a class for example. For the disabled product- There is never a time I want to see them after they've been disabled unless I am turning them back on. So it becomes a little tedious to need to toggle them off every time I want to condense the list. Especially as I have two locations and while there is some overlap, they do not carry all of the same products.

This is the Inventory Manager, Sumer Shahin. I would like to to remove product duplicates. It would also be helpful to be able to print directly from the program separately; ie., retail, consumable.

Inventory management in BLVD is clunky and difficult to edit. It would be great if I can view backbar inventory only or retail inventory only.

When entering color formulas, the option to track how often a product is being used is helpful. So when entering a formula if you were choosing from the inventory list, or it could pick out the items based on the formula it would be really helpful for inventory control.

Most businesses use their retail products or have a separate inventory for backbar products. In Boulevard the only way to scan out or "checkout" a backbar used item is to run it as a sale. If there was simply a separate system that could tie into the products that could automatically zero out a retail product and pull from both retail & backbar that would be great. Running it as a sale messes with the books and the accounting aspect because more taxing.

It would be great to add the inventory of back bar needed for hair treatments to keep tabs of inventory.

There needs to be a description when entering products "retail", "backbar" . many vendors supply both retail and backbar. its such a hassle to pull up backbar reports.

Would like the ability to classify which department the product falls within. Therefore, the category could be Hair, Face, Body, Nails and subcategory could be Shampoo/Conditioner, Color, Treatment etc.
