Dot Phrases
For Auto-populating info in charts
Thank you for your feedback. You’ll be happy to know that we recently completed work on Phrases. With this update, you can now use a slash to insert shorthand phrases for faster notetaking. Check out this article in our support center for information on how to set up: https://support.boulevard.io/en/articles/11699500-phrases
We appreciate your ideas and contributions—they help us constantly improve our software. Please let us know how this new feature works out for you.

Phrases feature is essential BUT you cannot limit this to 1,000 characters. I am having to create multiple different phrases for only 1 medical note. Character limit needs to be much larger so we can save time and create 1 phrase per treatment. 1,000 max limit is WAY too restrictive and defeats the purpose. I vote for a 10,000 limit so we only need to make 1 phrase for each note.

Please please please add this. It could bring this program a bit closer to being adequate for medical documentation.

We have several different note templates that we would like to have access to depending on the procedure. Currently copying and pasting but want this to all be within Boulevard.

Dot phrases add into our charts. Asked a lot about this from Zenoti or AR customers.

We NEED Dot Phrases/ Macros for charting!!! A dot phrase is a shortcut that expands into a longer, pre-set text. When we type a dot phrase (ex: ".botox") it would auto populate a paragraph or sentence for us that we can then adjust to the patient/ appointment.
Would really help efficiency with charting.

We use TextExpander for many things, this may be useful for your charting needs. It works best on a computer, but they do have an iOS app that provides some of the functionality.
Bonus, it works anywhere on the computer, so you can have pre-written replies to text messages in Boulevard, or email templates. Or things as simple as the name or phone number of your business.

Allow the ability to create a template note for charts (example-consistent charting on botox appointments) that is easy for the provider to pull up and add to the chart instead of having to free type every appointment chart note.

Please create the ability to use dot phrases in charting! This is something all modern EMRs have and is absolutely game changing for note efficiency!

We use Text Expander system wide, it can provide this functionality for charts as well as providing great pre-formatted responses for texts, etc...
