Discount Reason on Receipt
If there is an offer code that is used by the customer it should show on the receipt what it was for. Like if there was a "Summer 2021 10% Off All Products" offer code, it should say that on the receipt instead of just "DISCOUNT". The customer has no idea what the discount was for when they see their receipt.
Even further it should give us the option to show or not show that on the receipt. For example, if a code was used for an escalation or customer complaint, I don't want the customer to see "Escalation" on their receipt. I should be able to toggle in the offer/discount reason settings to show or not show the reason on the receipt. If not show is chosen then just plan "Discount" should be shown instead.

Improved discounting visibility on receipts
Emailed and printed receipts just got a glow-up! Now, when an offer or discount is applied to an order, or when a voucher is redeemed for a service, discounts will be applied to the individual line item. This will include the offer name, discount or “Voucher Redemption” percentage, and the impact on the item total.
Each line item will display a crossed-out version of the item’s original price for clearer communication with your clients. Additionally, we’ve updated the subtotal to show the sum of products and services after discounts, but before taxes, fees, and gratuity.

I would like to see a label entry for the discount/offer specified during the checkout process on the receipt. As a client I would like to see what the discount is for.......especially when its for a cancelation fee.....

Right now, receipts show the total amount and subtotal, then the applied discount. For clarity, it would be helpful to show individual applied discounts per line item on the receipt.

Can there be a way to send a client a detailed line item receipt, showing each individual discount per sku rather than a total discount? We have many clients find it confusing and question our receipts frequently.

The receipts clients receive do not display applied discounts on items. Many clients call to complain they have not received discount when in fact, they have.
