Client Portal (catch-all idea)
Catch-all idea for a client-facing portal. To help the product team prioritize the functionality you need, vote for more specific ideas like:
-Clients view past and upcoming appointments
-Clients can add or update payment method on file
-Clients can manage their own memberships
-Clients can see gift card balances
Hey Folks!
We love to see your input on how our product can better meet your needs. We’re excited to share that as of Thursday last week, all Boulevard customers can link a client portal login experience directly from their own website, and clients can also access client portal from self-booking. Once logged in, clients will see all of their past appointments and can manage upcoming appointments. To learn more, check out the changelog post.
While the client portal idea is being marked as “complete” today, we’re not done.
We’ve already received a lot of feedback on what other functionality you’d like to see for your clients. Please keep it up - we’d love to have you weigh in on some other client portal-related requests to help prioritize our roadmap:
- Send clients secure link to collect credit card information
- Have a portal for clients to safely enter credit card information when not booking online
- Allow clients to manage memberships themselves
- Allow clients to view completed forms
- Allow clients to see account balances and loyalty points
- Automatic late cancellation charges
Best,
The Boulevard Client Experience Product Team

Clients should be able to see a breakdown of their purchases, not just the services and the card that was used. We were under the impression that there was a lot more functionality already involved with the client-facing aspects.

clients need to be able to see their upcoming and pervious appointments.

Many clients delete their emails. Clients need a booking portal that shows CC on file/expired. Past and future appointments along with their missed or no shows. They should have access to updating their information along with canceling or rescheduling connected to the booking portal.

Notifications for when a membership renewal occurs and loads new vouchers onto a client profile. Notification could be via text or email.

Still difficult to navigate, will clients be able to access this on the actual booking site? Many people do not save the confirmation emails. AND can the cancelled appointments either be omitted or have the ENTIRE thing in red ink? This can get confusing if they don't realize it says cancelled at the end.

Is this update complete or still in progress? The comment above states that clients can view those appointments now. However, clients are not receiving the "code" when they try to confirm their email.

2 years this has been scheduled huh? To this day you are still getting comments about this NECESSARY feature. When will this be made?!?

Clients are requesting to be able to view their past and future appointments from their online booking profile. This was something we had with our previous software and it was extremely helpful.

Clients need to be able to view all of their future appointments when they are booking online. Our clients book 6 months in advance online and when they go to book the next one, they need to be able to see all of the other appointments.

Hope this happens soon. Reading the comments, it seems to be taking a couple f years. This would help retain clients! GIVE THE PEOPLE THE POWER!

I WOULD BE GREAT IF THE CLIENTS COULD SEE ALL FUTURE APPOINTMENTS IN THE CLIENT BOOKING WIDGET OR WHEN THEY RECEIVE CONFIRMATIONS THEY COULD SEE THE NEXT APPOINTMENT

When we joined we thought that such a basic feature was already included in the program so I asked 1,000 questions but never thought to even ask about that...Since we joined blvd our calls have increased 100% with clients to call to find out when their upcoming appts are, and people double booking themselves thinking they didnt have an appt =( very inconvenient, it has created A LOT of extra workload for my front desk and it has become hectic and inconvenient for our clients.
I have a big acct and super fast paced salon and this to me is a HUGE priority and without a date of when it will be available it would have definitely have been a deal breaker before joining =(

Right now, clients can only manage their appointments if they keep their original confirmation email. They should be able to login to their profile and manage appointments (reschedule/cancel) without having to keep that first confirmation email.

Looks like this has been "scheduled" for a while... when will this be up and running? Very difficult for clients to keep their appointments straight when they can't see their upcoming appointments.

Allow clients to edit their own contact info via client portal as well as add birthday and address if they like

Hi =) This has been planned for a while, when will it get started? Clients are desperate because our previous platform has this feature and now we dont have it with Blvd, which I wasnt aware of, I figured its something that was already built into the system, clients are constantly reaching out upset because they dont know when their upcoming appts are.

The clients should be able to view their own profiles, their own appt history, view which products they've bought, add their preferred pronouns, add their birthdays, enroll in the loyalty program, view their membership, etc. Similar to mind body or booker. It's super frustrating for clients that they don't have access to this!!
