  1. By not separating our credit card processing fees from our nightly sales reconciliations you make it hard for clients to track and forecast regular/annual credit card processing fees. This is not a transparent practice - we should be able to see how and when these fees are changing - the current system is convoluted and wholly ambiguous. This should be a separate charge outside of our sales revenue.

  6. We honestly have had to re-pair or reset the Duo reader at least once every two weeks for some reason and each time it is a fairly involved process requiring an owner or manager to be present or tell the staff their login in order to set things up again. It would be awesome if this could be set up just so linking can be done and no changes to the Duo settings like tip amount, etc.

It would be far more convenient to be able to see the service providers as well as time in the Front Desk view; clicking in to the appt works in some situations, but if a stylist wanted to see which of their clients were confirmed vs. unconfirmed they'd have to check all of them individually right now. Would also help front desk know which stylist to notify at a glance, as some stylists don't pay attention to their phones or leave them around the salon.

  13. For the client profile, we are very personable with our clients, and we spend a lot of time with them building rapport. All businesses rely on referrals and networking. There should be an opportunity for our salon to either add a picture of their business card or line of work that they're in or other customizable fields besides just "notes".

  14. Have the ability to show the client account details on the iPad during the checkout process so we can ask if their account info (phone number & email are up to date) and have the ability to add their email for marketing purposes.

  16. Our clients use gift cards often and asking for a tip is uncomfortable. Since we can't currently swipe our gift cards, can the gratuity screen be available for keyed-in cards, too?
