Charting Improvements
What we don't like
Freehand drawing is clunky, especially for injection mapping.
Marks connect unintentionally and are difficult to place accurately.
Providers can't easily indicate different products on the same image, so charts end up looking "like a toddler colored it."
There's no way to add clean text or a legend, forcing providers to hand draw letters and labels.
Charting takes significantly longer, enough that they're paying providers extra time to complete documentation.
We feel the current tool is built more for simple annotations than medical aesthetic charting workflows.
What we'd like to see
Text boxes that can be placed anywhere on the image.
The ability to enter letters, words, or symbols (not just numbers), such as "Botox," "Voluma," or "X."
A movable legend/key so providers can label color coded products (for example, "Pink = Voluma, Blue = Sculptra").
A more flexible annotation tool with stamps or customizable labels instead of relying on freehand drawing.
Overall, a workflow that helps providers work smarter, not harder and better supports medical aesthetics documentation.
