Hi Boulevard team,
I'd like to request a feature that lets providers open availability for only specific services on certain days, rather than opening the full menu of services for every block of time we're working.
Here's my use case. I work in two modes:
In-person aesthetic days, where I provide injectables and other in-office aesthetic services.
Telehealth days, where I exclusively provide functional medicine consultations and discovery calls, and cannot offer any aesthetic treatments.
Right now, when I open availability on a telehealth day, the system allows clients to book any service I offer — including aesthetic treatments I physically can't perform that day. That means I have to either manually cancel/reschedule mismatched bookings or block off services in a way that's clunky and easy for clients to misinterpret.
What I'd love is the ability to say: "On these dates and time blocks, only these specific services are bookable." So a telehealth Tuesday would only show functional medicine consults and discovery calls in the booking flow, and aesthetic services would simply not appear as options to clients for that day.
This pattern is already standard in other practice management and EMR systems, and it's actually consistent with logic Boulevard already uses for shared resources — for example, if a single laser device is booked in one room, the system blocks that same time slot in other rooms. The principle is the same here: certain availability windows should only support a subset of services.
This would meaningfully reduce booking errors and back-and-forth communication for solo practitioners and multi-modality providers like me.
Happy to share more detail or hop on a call if helpful. Thank you for considering it.
