CREDIT CARD REQUIRED FOR SCHEDULING INTERNALLY
Please give us the option to require that staff collect credit card information prior to any service scheduled. Again, we are working hard at our small business just like those of you who started boulevard.
With this being said these types of ideas that we suggest NEED administrative level feedback.
We need to be able to require services scheduled on the backend have a credit card on file to minimize potential revenue loss. Workarounds are what I have started to tell other business owners what they are signing up for if they choose to work with this platform.
I am going to paste a comment here from idea hub in 2021. It seems that it got "waitlisted" in 2024 which does not make me happy to see given the amount of time between idea posted and when someone at BLVD decided to waitlist it. I also wonder if the boulevard owners are aware of the public social media group boulevard for med spa owners and the number of discontent small business/medical practices who express concerns that are posted here to this idea hub.
Boulevard - you are so close to being great since your EHR on a "pretty platform" shows much promise but the business operational workflow inefficiencies leave too much to be desired.
See idea from 2021 shared below:
"It would be great if before an appointment could be saved on the stylist books the system prompted the operator to get Credit Card information. We "require" a credit/debit card on file due to a cancellation policy however most clients do not have a card on file because the operator forgets to ask for it. Having a window of some sort pop up to prompt the operator to gather the credit card information before the appt could be saved would greatly increase the number of clients with a CC on file. This would allow our shops to actually charge the No show/Late cancellation fee when applicable." - Aaron Edwards, July 2021, Boulevard Idea Hub.
