Patient Flow Status Monitoring
We would like to monitor Patient status AFTER their initial check-in so that we can monitor clinic timing to ensure optimal patient experience and clinic flow. For example, once the patient has been "roomed" and their vitals are taken, we would like to be able to mark the patient prepped and ready to see the Provider and then when Patient is ready to check out and we are getting their reports together prior to check out so we can better manage clinic timing and patient flow timing. This option would result in being able to review total Patient Visit Timeline from arrival to checkout and ensure that we are on schedule and point out where delays may be occurring throughout the day so we can make adjustments to improve clinic experience.

One way to solve this is to add custom categories/columns to the front desk view. So the columns could look like: confirmed, arrived, ready for provider, numbing, ready for coordinator, checked out, etc. If they are customizable it will help all practices stay organized. Having the apt comment be visible on that view would allow staff see special needs (comments could be started numbing at 9am, needs coordinator to discuss memberships, etc). We have an 8000 sq ft location, so its hard to run back and forth and look for each other to communicate these things
