Enhanced and Automated Loyalty Program Features
It would be ideal if Boulevard supported a loyalty platform or loyalty platform partner that can handle tier logic, automatic upgrades/downgrades, and communication without the need to fully custom-build it via Zapier or scripts.
The specific limitations that we'd like to see overcome are:
Tiers not supported: Boulevard’s built-in Loyalty Program is points-based only (earn/redeem). There’s no way to create tiered memberships (e.g., Silver/Gold/Platinum) that upgrade/downgrade based on spend or visit frequency.
Rolling windows unavailable: Boulevard doesn’t expose “spend in last 12 months” or “visits in last 90 days,” so we can’t calculate rolling thresholds natively.
Tag management: Zapier can add tags, but can’t remove them, so automated downgrades (e.g., Gold → Silver when spend/visits drop) aren’t possible without manual intervention.
Messaging constraints: Boulevard can send SMS from the business number, but automated SMS triggered by an external system would come from a different number, which risks confusing clients. Email triggers are possible through integrations like Klaviyo.
Automation overhead: To run a true tiered system, we’d need external logic (Airtable/Sheets or SaaS) to calculate tiers, then sync status back to Boulevard. That adds cost, complexity, and manual cleanup unless there’s a supported partner solution.

Almost any upgrade to Loyalty would be appreciated! The system is so basic and limited that we don't use it. If there were tiers, customizations, options for bonus points as part of promotions we would use it in a heartbeat!
