ability to charge a set missed appointment fee for free consultations
currently, you cannot charge a missed appt fee on a free service if you have your MAF set to a percentage. (which we prefer since larger appointment times/services cause more lost productivity when cancelled late/missed. HOWEVER we think it is important to offer free consultations to encourage people to come check us out. Today, though for example, we had a lady book consults on 3 services for an entire hour block...and no showed. We had no way to charge her other than to put a bill on file if she tries to come in again. This just really should be changed.
