Apply product charges to $0 services (e.g., redos) so they reduce the provider’s total commission
Current Issue
When a service is rung up at $0, such as a redo, Boulevard doesn’t apply the service’s product charge. A product charge can only bring a provider’s payout on that service down to $0, never below it. Because a $0 service has no payout to reduce, the product cost is lost from commission calculations.
Salons still use real (often extra) product on redos, so managers have to work out the product charges by hand after each pay period and take them off the provider’s commission. That takes time, invites mistakes, and can confuse staff.
Requested functionality
- Let product charges on $0 services (and services discounted 100%) be deducted from the provider’s total commission for the pay period, not only from that one service’s payout.
- Make this a setting at the business or service level so salons can choose whether redos carry a product charge.
- Show the deduction clearly in payroll and commission reports so providers can see where it came from.
