Prevent Newly Added Consents from Appearing Incomplete on Previously Completed Appointments
It would be helpful if BLVD did not automatically add newly created or updated consent forms to appointments that have already been completed.
For example, if we add a new consent form months after a client’s appointment, the consent may appear as missing or unsigned when we review the bulk list of forms that are not started or are in progress. This makes it appear as though the client failed to complete required paperwork, even though the consent was added after their visit and was not applicable at the time.
Ideally, new consent forms would only apply to future appointments or appointments that have not yet been completed. Previously completed appointments should retain the consent requirements that were in place at the time of the visit.
This would help prevent inaccurate incomplete-consent reports, reduce unnecessary follow-up, and make it easier to identify clients who genuinely have outstanding paperwork.
