Allow providers to edit appointment service duration without creating appointments
Right now, the permission “Edit appointment’s service duration” requires Own appointments: View, create & edit to be enabled.
Because of this dependency, providers who need to adjust timing (base duration, processing time, finishing time, transition time) must also be given permission to create their own appointments.
Our workflow requires providers to:
View their own appointments
Edit appointment details and service duration when needed
But we do not want providers to create or book appointments themselves.
A separate permission that allows editing service duration without appointment creation would give us much better control over scheduling while still letting providers adjust timing when necessary.
